I just want to be able to blow out the garage and blow off some water from the car. I do not require or need the whole car specialized heated, super speed dedicated blower - just a reasonable compact battery leaf blower for around the house.
I have one Ryobi drill/ battery set up, but I am not really invested in a battery or brand, so agnostic there.
Recommendations?

I recently purchased one of these on sale. Also purchased the stubby nose attachment. Absolutely love it. It's very powerful. Only drawback is it's loud!

I had the Dewalt 20v DCBL722 with a 5ah battery and it's plenty of power and battery life to blow out the garage and dry off most of the car. It is loud though so ear protection is recommended.
I upgraded to the Dewalt DCBL777 and it's significantly stronger but much quieter (no ear protection needed even on turbo mode). Drawback is that it's a lot more money.

I got the Ego 670 or 685 (can't remember) from Lowe's.. it does the job fine, plus it's useful for blowing leaves and stuff too. Get a set of hearing protection headphones while you're at it.
