It's private because it keeps out spam. WE get a lot of that. However, the selectivity is nice since we really like having Porschephiles in the group.

I believe the intentions of the guys who created the group (David and James) was not have open group to anyone but keep the it local to Minnesota and have members that are active. I have been member of P&P since it started last year and the group very active and does a lot of social gatherings (bowling, game nights, breakfast/lunches, etc..). It's much more social than Nord Stern and we do a lot more drives than they do as well. It is small group but everyone is helpful and loves to drive their P cars.

If you are interested in joining, just send an invitation request on the FB page. We having a gathering/drive this Saturday.

But I'll be driving my truck. Too much salt put down from that last snow storm and not going to expose my 34 yr old 928 to it.

Well, I took it out before the weather got bad. I'm glad I did. Haven't driven the car since Sunday because I've been so busy. Leaving this weekend so I won't be driving the car until next week.

Well, we're back! Eight of us went to the US129 and survived the Tail of the Dragon. What a blast! Sounds like everyone got hooked and wants to go back. We have so many photos and videos that I think we're still not done editing everything.
