Most people don't need it nor do most people need a GTS version of the Cayenne. It's pretty subjective, IMO.
Great answer

I agree with the above comment. I’ve had 4 Cayennes and my last one has PDCC. There is a big difference but you probably won’t know the difference unless you compare the two. Everything about these cars is frivolous so go for it. You never want to say “I should have ordered it”

I've had a 22&23 GTS without PDCC I'm going for it this time https://configurator.porsche.com/porsche-code/PSEJ2S30

Thanks for the catch! I updated my post. Here's my build for easy reference: https://configurator.porsche.com/porsche-code/PSX4F8E2

Copy/pasting my original questions:
I'm completely undecided on "Sport Design Package" for the painted bumpers. The GTS standard gloss black, while the sport design is painted to the exterior color. Has anyone seen either of these in person and/or have any recommendations?

I'm also jumping between black, beige, or chalk interior. My wife really likes the neodyme trim, which looks best with black IMO so I keep going back to a basic black interior... Has anyone seen the chalk in person? Do you think it will hold up well with 2 young kids?

Thanks! Do you mean the leather interior package? If yes, I think Chalk only comes with the upgraded leather package

It came down to not wanting a hybrid, which meant S or GTS. When configured otherwise identical, the GTS was worth the small premium to get the extra ponies.

I asked this when I placed my order and was told non-GTS orders are still going thru as 2024s right now. How accurate this is or isn't I obvious can't validate.

this line of reasoning is easily extended to “if you need a family hauler why get a porsche”, so that should answer it. similarly, if you need a performance vehicle why get an SUV?

good suggestion on test driving with and without.

i also like the quartzite gray + HGB standard sports design package. looks nicer to me than the body-colored sports design package... we'll see how it looks in person.

Any thoughts on the interior trim. Standard is the black. Anyone see the deep brushed aluminum? Is carbon fiber the way to go?

I guess it depends on the vibe your going for. I want a aggressive sporty exterior and for the interior I'm going for a luxurious vibe. That's the fashion stylist in me talking 😅
