24 Cayenne stop sale

As per my dealer today, Porsche attempted to push out an update at the end of last week that failed to correct all of the issues. With that failure, they are now working on a larger update that at the earliest will be complete by September 1st for the base and S models.

My SA does not know anything about this failure to correct/September 1st. He checked everywhere and there is no news like that. Where is your SA getting this info? Is anyone else hearing the same?

"We are supposed to get more information with respect to the software update in calendar week 36 (first week of September). " from my SA.

“We’re subjecting the new Cayenne to a complete and comprehensive testing program, just as if it we’d developed it from scratch,” explains test manager Ralf Bosch.

I pre-traded in my M3 for a Cayenne S Coupe and now I'm also stuck waiting impatiently for this to be over.

Ouch... my dealer told me specifically to wait for the car to arrive so he wouldn't take my trade... I do not know what I would do without a vehicle for months... sorry to hear that.

I have wanted to try living with one car for awhile now: I guess I get to find out!

Tell your dealer to pull up the PPN Infoport and take a look. It should be there. The software update is a global update.

I sold my truck on July 5th to a private party thinking I would have the new Cayenne the first week of August. I was out of town most of July. The weekly trip to Costco is a little more of a challenge in a Carrera.

My sales rep dropped the bad news to me about 10min after I wired the dealership the remaining balance I owed them for my 24 TGT.
To put an even bigger smile on my face, my PPF appointment had to get rain checked due to this!
when life gives you lemons, make a nice limoncello and drink them till ya get your 24 truck!
