That’s correct ..!

Btw the entire procedure may have taken around under 3 hours for the oil change that’s because I was cleaning the underside while I had the covers off.

also any idea where the MAF sensor is located on this engine ?

The torque spec I use is "tight enough" by hand. These are always under vacuum/suction and not pressurized. Don't overtighten and don't overthink it.

I did some digging for the MAF and all I came up with is pressure sensors up- and down-stream of the turbos, plus throttle angle and engine speed. My assumption is mass air flow is calculated from those parameters.

The MAF is a hot wire type sensor, pretty small device. I don't recall the location but will dig around.
What tool did you use to get a grip of the clamp nut ?

I have the 2.9TTV6 and the screws are accessible by screwdriver or socket. I remove the end of the snorkel directly in contact with the turbo. The V8 might be different.

Does anyone have a trick to remove the two engine by trim covers (the ones on either sides ) without breaking the white clips ?

If Porsche is charging 4 hours for this, they are making a nice profit, since I would assume they could complete in 2 hours. Next time I will not delay my oil change fearing a massive time investment.
Second time around, it only took me about 1 hour and 15 minutes from start to finish.

Those are the buggers. I firmly hold the trim panel with both hands as close to the white "fir tree" push pin as possible, and lift straight up. The white pin gets chewed and mangled each time, there is no way to avoid it. Removing the clip is an option I will evaluate next oil change.

Thanks .. I’ve completely chewed up two and they weren’t cheap. Also broke a tab on one of the trims 😬

Yes, I also broke a tab on one of the panels. An unnecessarily fiddly attachment means.
