Not sure what can make you think that way ?
better to check all other threads and contact as many forum members as you could to verify.
if that still make you think that way , don’t know what to say

Another happy upgrade customer
This is my first post to this group. If that is a reason to disregard the benefits associated with my views, so be it.
In fact, I held similar views on some other unrelated boards where I have many posts. So I understand.
Keep an open mind, and perhaps what I share might be helpful.
I only joined this forum a couple of days ago after Raymond did the upgrade on my 2019 Porsche Cayenne.
But for Raymond, I never would have found this place.
I love my Cayenne in all respects but one. PCM5 has no support for Android auto. I don't use an apple and have no intention to change from Android.
It is so annoying using my phone for navigation. If I need to make a phone call or I receive a call, google Maps turns into a postage stamp sized image. Getting it back to full screen on my phone required pressing the two arrows and not the adjacent X. Playing with Spotify while driving is not practical.
Periodically, I would do a Google search for an Android auto upgrade path. I stumbled upon Raymond and this forum around that time. I never proceeded to move forward with Raymond because what fool would allow a stranger onto their computer, would send the stranger $$$ in advance, would load firmware updates to their PCM 5 supplied by that stranger? Certainly not me.
Hence, I stayed on the sidelines for the past year and occasionally visited to read more posts about Raymond and his offering.
Very slowly, I became a little more comfortable as I read posts that described how Raymond did the update and that when a porsche technician plugs into the car, he won't detect what took place. One satisfied review after another.
A couple of weeks ago, I took my Cayenne in for service. The dealership provided a 2023 Cayenne with PCM 6. The experience made a lasting impression on me.
Back to rereading all of the favorable posts about Raymond and his offering. I studied his web site, more reviews etc.I did Google searches for any warning signs I could find re Raymond. Nothing, Nada, Zilch. Still not 100% comfortable. I spoke to some friends about letting a stranger plug into my car and update my PCM5. After describing the update process, all of the favorable reviews, and placing a lot of weight on the fact that Raymond is sponsor of this incredible forum, while still a little apprehensive, I decided to take the plunge.
Finally, I called Raymond via what's app, I had only a few questions and then we made the plans.
Prudently, I used a laptop that had no personal information on it. That way, I had little concern about giving a stranger access to my computer.
Everything went as planned. The process was very straightforward. Raymond updated my out of date PCM 5 firmware a few days in advance of the Andoid auto/Apple carplay update.
Everything went very smoothly with the Android auto update.
I did the high-resolution update where the entire screen and resolution are used.
First impressions:
Blown away, incredible update, amazing.
I almost feel like I have a new car I am using Google maps, waze Spotify, and calls.
It ALL works flawlessly. Not a single glitch. I can switch between everything easily. Press the porche button, and the upgrade would not be obvious to anyone.
I feel like I want to drive somewhere just to use the new functionality.
Now let's talk about the price.
I think that the upgrade is incredible value for the money. I no longer need a Sirius subscription as I have Spotify.
What can you get from Porsche for the price Raymond charges? Not much.
If Porche offered the update (I know that they dont), what would they charge? A couple thousand, perhaps.
Conclusion
Based on my experience, I would do the PCM update without hesitation.
For me, the only complaint that I had about my Cayenne has been resolved.
Thank you, Raymond and this site.

+1 on the apple car play full screen
Yet another happy customer with a 2019 base.
Screen looks amazing with waze on it.
Pics below.
Upgrade works great and is worth every penny.
This was not easy process (due to learning on the fly) so some lessons learned for a 2019 base.
1. Format a 32gb flash drive to fat 32 before donwloading the necessary files
2. Purchase two LAN to USB adaptors if your laptop does not have a LAN jack
3. Have a fully charged car battery or a battery tender hooked up during install
Hoping another vote of confidence helps others who might be on the fence.
All of that to say "thank you, Raymond"

I've been using this for a week now (whole screen + wireless), and it works as advertised. I have been a Rennlister for years, no paid discount for review etc. It's the real deal. Wireless CarPlay, wired CarPlay, whole screen changes the entire infotainment of the car.
The only thing I didn't expect is that your phone can't access wifi while it's connected with wireless CarPlay. For example, you can't be in your garage connected to CarPlay and use your home wifi to browse the web. I suppose that is not that significant given.99% of the time, you will be using mobile data on the go, but it's worth mentioning. Perhaps that is how OEM wireless CarPlay works, I do not have a car to test that.

Full Screen Android Auto in 2019 Cayenne
Hello everyone, I have just registered as a new vendor here, I have used my personal account posted few threads about the complicated project on PCM5 in this forum before, for those of you who are interested can search the forum to see more detailed of this in technical prospective.
As a vendor I am here to offerr the service of activating full screen CarPlay in your infotainment system (PCM5)
As we all noticed already, all owners with PCM5 system has only 2/3 screen when in CarPlay screen, this may annoyed a lot of people, the great news is that we have made the screen can be fully utilised for CarPlay display and the activation is as simple as 15mins remote service
And we know that PCM6 on 2022 Cayenne has got full screen CarPlay on PCM6, but now you don't need to change your car, just do this simple activation you all have full HD resolution CarPlay screen just like PCM6 on 2022 model
After the activation you can have Full HD 1920x720 resolution
At the same time, Android auto can also be activated with full screen display
There is an other full screen option you can choose
it leave the bar on top and right side of the screen
However you can see the difference is that icon is really small as it just stretched horizontally which really strange resolution 1772x600
For a lot of app won’t show content properly as below :
You can see that only shows half content at bottom due to this stretched resolution
With 1920x720 resolution, you can have all content showed no issue at all
For the whole screen 1920x720 full HD will not have such issue at all
You may ask how to access the car menu in full HD 1920x720 mode
1.the button on the left doesn’t give you any good features except the shortcut to go to any sub menu
2. to do that, you either press the Porsche log in CarPlay screen to get back to main menu or any physical button just below the screen
Click tie icon you will get back to main car menu
And any buttons below the screen will dose exactly the same as the bar on the left of the screen
Anyway I can do both, so just try to explain which one is better
You can choose whichever you like, Both options are available
For your confidence of using our service, we have done more than 500+ cars in past 6 months and had 100% customer satisfaction
The number of the Porsche owner we service for this full screen CarPlay will give you more confidence than thousands words from any other vendors
All you need to prepare is a windows computer with teamviwer installed and a cheap usb network card can be purchased on eBay or Amazon
If you are technical person, you can also use our automate online tool to do all by yourself
Contact me if anyone of you are interested this upgrade and I guarantee it will be really worth to do and make you love your car more than ever.

I love my 2019 Porsche Cayenne. More i drive it more i love it. There was one thing that was bothering me. It did not had android auto and i have been using Samsung for last 11 Years. I even tried changing to iphone but i did not like it and went back to Samsung. My infotainment Firmware was old and needed to be upgraded. Me again here! After 5months, for a reason that I don't understand, it seems my phone started to bug a little bit with Android Auto : bad detection or slow connection. And then it suddenly stopped even detecting AA!
A quick WhatsApp message to Raymond, he replied with a solution and an clear video that explain the why and the how (on the phone side, not the Cayenne's side). 30sec later everything's working perfectly fine and AA is back.
So not only a great implementation and flawless transaction process but also a superb post sales customer service, thank you very much Raymond !

please contact me and will sort out for you , should be very easy setting issue
Hi mate, which phone are you using if you can answer me. I have issued connecting my S21 with Android 13 with latest AA and no matter which USB option I use or cable (I use quality braided cables and tried severals, no joy). I tried my wifes older polderwith Android 11, it connects almost instant. But my S21 no way. I enabled uab debugging in developer options, the car only recognized form 4 options only 1st one, Usb thethering does not recognize, Midi option also not working. Nothing seems to push the Car play icon to show up. So any reply is appreciated. Thanks 🙏
