What an exciting upgrade to my 2020 Porsche Cayenne! I did not want to have to purchase an iPhone! My android phone is just perfect with this upgrade! it was a little bit scary when the system was rebooting, but Ray was so knowledgeable and so calming and everything is functioning perfectly! After reading some posts about Innovative Soft and the ability to get Android Auto working, I bit the bullet and bought the package. It's really nice to be able to access it on my Cayenne. Installation was easy. They help you through buying a few small things you need for connectivity. I'm in software myself, so this was all pretty easy for me to understand and get ready, but I think it will be a pretty easy process for the non-technical. It took about 20 minutes for installation, and they walk you through the process. Being in the Google realm this just makes everything so much better as the built-in navigation just doesn't work that well for me. I suggest saving the yearly fee of paying for the Porsche navigation and get this instead.

On the website, there's "Porsche Full screen Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Activation PCM4.1 PCM5" for €285.85 and the"[size=13px]Porsche PCM5 whole screen Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Activation" for €616.64. They both seem to give full screen [/size]CarPlay.

Thank you Ray for a smooth, easy and fast installation. I too was baffled with the fact that Porsche did not have Android Auto and I stumbled upon this thread searching for a solution. I have purchased several products from Ray, and intend to get the PIWIS so he can add the options that were not ordered with my vehicle.

Ray made it painless to do this upgrade. Sent me all the requirements, set up the appointment, and it took less than 1 hour to complete. Amazon was a day delayed with the USB to Ethernet adapter due to a hurricane here, but he easily changed my appointment. Once ready, he went through all of the prep work in about 15 minutes, and then loaded all of that data into the car.

Everything went very smoothly and worked perfectly the first time!! Thanks again Ray, and we'll do the other mods in a few months.

I recently got full screen CarPlay enabled and everything works but when CarPlay is active and I have the CarPlay menu icon selected in the left hand side pcm menu, I am unable to scroll the sidebar menu. I have to tap a visible menu icon other than CarPlay to be able to scroll anytime the CarPlay menu icon is selected the sidebar menu can’t be scrolled. Has anybody encountered this issue after enabling full screen CarPlay? I have a 2019 Cayenne with pcm 5.0 with MH2p_US_POG35_P9807 software version and hardware version H046.

that is probably not from our service,
we normally update the firmware to 9829 at least

and sounds like you have full screen nor whole screen.

Did you get service from us ?

No, it was done by another service provider remotely. I had initially had them code whole screen which hid the Porsche menu bars but didn’t like it so had them recode to full screen to retain the Porsche menu bars. They say they’ve never seen this problem before. So, I am trying to figure out if it’s the expected behavior for others who have similar software and hardware version with full screen CarPlay coded.

just wanted to give another shoutout to Raymond. The frozen side menu bar when in CarPlay is frozen no more! Plus got android Auto activated as well. The whole process took about an hour and half. Happy days!
