What did you do with your cayenne today?

@retom i like that net!
my car didn’t come w a cargo net. i think that is cheap. I haven’t bought one yet i keep thinking my audi Q3 net might work but i have a feeling if i test it won’t fit quite right and i will end up buying the official porsche net.
in a similar vain, i have a 6 foot and 18 foot set of these:

they fit into the chrome attachment points perfectly. i have used them several times to secure items in the boot - most recently we took 4 large pizzas to a family event - 29 mile drive, so i secure them with the cam jam. everything stayed nice and stable despite taking several curvy roads.

I was driving at night in my Coupe. Saw a Cayenne come up behind me, wasn't sure exactly which model but I could tell it was probably a '24. Because I love the look of the Cayenne from the rear I pulled over and then pulled back out behind it so I could admire the rear lights of the Cayenne at night. Damn it looks so cool. I don't have a dashcam which is a shame I could have video'd it.

New rubber arrived for the Coupe yesterday , they will be fitted when i get the wheels powder coated and they came with a free George.
New wiper blades picked up along with 1L of 0-W20 to keep in the boot.

2 weeks ago: 2 new front tires. Factory Pirelli Scorpion Verde A/S. Old tires had 25k miles on them, proably could have made it to 30k miles. Purchased and installed at the dealer, they were priced slightly higher than the local tire chain, and offered a loaner. I combined the tire replacement with warranty water pump replacement. Good experience all around.

Low reservoir level, which prompted a hunt for evidence. I found evidence of dried coolant under the water pump (inspection from below) and on the coolant shutoff valve (inspection from above).
Inspection required removing the air filter assembly and bellypan/undershield. Bright LED flashlight very helpful, arguably required.

Switched from 22 Summer Spyder to 21 Winter Spyder… well… winter tires and on size smaller makes the ride much more comfortable and indirect. Not sure, Sport Suspension and 21 is better Option or just too much for me…. 😎

Particular: while vacuuming my car yesterday, i noticed the rear mats are unique per side. i had never looked that carefully because they are so thin and cheap feeling (at least in the 2024). however, they are unique per side. the bottom corner w the larger radius fits into the corner than has the 45 degree angle. dealer put them in wrong, i never checked carefully.

I always thought it was off having a silver emblem on the rear hatch when the car is trimmed out with the high gloss black.
I ordered a black one and my neighbor owns a body shop so he brought his stuff home and helped do the swap.
I think it looks much much better.
Winter tire swap happening tomorrow. Pics to follow.
