wiper + the cross bars r mounted to roof rails. so it is not a coupe. so i think we put the coupe idea to bed.
i think it is a macan. w a body kit - which explains the rear plate notch. unless there are a few rear defuses options we can find pics of. does the macan have a porsche design option?
Maybe not. Just noticed the rear wiper on the vehicle. (And updated the annotated photo). Cayenne Coupé doesn’t have a rear wiper. The plot thickens . . . 😀
Yep good point. From the beginning I thought Macan because of height:width ratio. Rear spoiler at the top of the rear window looks Macan.
Got all the important things into the trunk. Towstrap is wrapped around the tire; jumpercables are in the white kitchen-trashbag; half-inch-drive ratcheting breakerbar and deepsocket are wrapped in the yellowish-white towel peaking out the top on the right; the 2"-balled ballmount is wrapped in a large towel and on the floor of this compartment on the right, under the jumpercable bag; gloves are tucked under the whitish holddown strap.. Have a sealed quart of oil in the small compartment within the righthand wall of the rear compartment.. A white handtowel lives in every doorpocket, and the rest of the good stuff is in the glovebox.. My (currently) only wheelscrew key* is in the glovebox, and the second, on the way, will live in the bespoke recess in the trunk.

Is that the security socket removal key? If so, I bought an aftermarket extra one from TEMO on Amazon for $10.99. The Porsche dealer has been unable to obtain one in the format/code I need even though my Cayenne was only about 6 months from new when I asked to order one. It's now been about 1 1/2 years and it is still on back order. I assume it will never arrive. There was an unused "slot" in the tool kit tray in which the extra aftermarket socket removal key fits perfectly.
I also bought an extra threaded "Assembly pin" to make it easier to do the summer/winter wheel changeover. IIRC, only Cayenne with 22 inch wheels come with two. My Cayenne came with only one since it came with 21" wheels. There are two slots in the tool kit tray for them.
There's just one more thing to buy to keep in the trunk:
Dropped the Cayenne for new front tires. Best dealership experience ever. Friendly SA, nearly empty service writeup area. Showroom and outdoor lot full of new and preowned cars. 3RS (sold) in the showroom. Coffee machine worked. Snacks in stock. Base Macan loaner - better than no loaner!
Winter...winter...I was raised (16 years) in the village of St. Paul Park, Minnesota, so I know what that is, but that ended 64 years ago.. Today the predicted high will be around 109dF...BUT...I never have to shovel that, my cars always start, and I never get stuck in it.. We have 6 months of summer and 6 months of nonsummer; it's NEVER winter here.

a friend of mine that lives in a very cold location told me they have virtually no homeless in his town. no graffiti. no tents or tarps. that right there made me respect a good cold location.
