Default Curb Rash on Cayenne Turbo Wheel; fixable?

It finally happened, I got me some curb rash on my passenger rear wheel. My Cayenne Turbo has these 22" wheels. Is curb rash fixable on such wheels? only the outer rim got the rash, not the black painted spokes, and there appears to be no deformity in the rim.

If fixable, how do I locate a good shop to fix it? Thanks!

The wider wheels have a love affair with curbs ,,, suggest you get wheel + tire coverage for ease of mine or deal with the damage .. Also check wth your local
dealer or body shop for repairs ,, cheers ,

Yep. That’s a sickening feeling when you curb a wheel. I had good luck with a guy sub-contracted by my Porsche shop. Shops usually contract out wheel repairs and have the lowdown on the reputable refinishers. My 18” turbo twist wheels looked good as new.

EDIT: I just checked my records — Total cost to recondition two wheels was $360 back in 2006.

Anything is fixable, even bends in the wheel. I'd reach out to a local luxury premium wheel shop to see what or who they recommend. You can also ask other Porsche folks at a local PCA event if you have time to attend one. The Porsches and Pancake (Cars & Coffee) events are really good for this. I've been assembling a rolodex of local contacts that do everything from wheel repair to dent removal to PPF.

Yes all fixable. Now getting it to 100% match the other three wheels. That’s a different story.

I'd just refinish both wheels on the same side of the car. I don't think you'll notice any slight variation from side to side as you're not looking at opposite sides at the same time.

In the past, I’ve had very good results with the leading wheel shop in my city. I’m sure someone inspecting closely might notice the refinishing, but I couldn’t .

A good refinisher can get the wheel looking factory.
