There's an argument to be had that too many storage compartments can be a nuisance, my wife fills them with old makeup and other 'handbag' detritus.
So annoying.
Noot too threadjack, but what is the deal with the storage compartment in the rear hatch> It has clips to hold something bur I don't have a clue. Been an itch since I got the Cayenne last year.

The compartment is for a Euro-spec warning triangle and a medical kit. You can order the warning triangle but I have been unable to get a medical kit delivered to the USA. Some sort of import restriction. From my post in this thread: https://rennlist.com/forums/cayenne-...-ons-mods.html
European Cayennes come equipped with a warning triangle stored in a compartment located in the rear cargo door. U.S. deliveries do not — the compartment is empty. Feeling cheated, I tried a couple different US-spec DOT approved models from Amazon but they were too big and didn’t fit the Cayenne’s compartment.
Further research found that Gembra manufactures the Trimicro triangle for the European manufacturers, who re-brand them. I found this BMW branded Trimicro for $22 + shipping on the Bimmer World site (BMW Part #71606770487) https://www.bimmerworld.com/BMW-MINI...606770487.html
It fits perfectly in the Cayenne’s cargo door compartment. I feel cheated no more!
Here is the original warning triangle from EU Cayenne. As you can see it has Audi part number. It seems that it is the same as in BMW.
The similar looking warning triangle with hard case that I ordered today on Aliexpress for a little less than US$22 including shipping to Kansas has the Audi logo according to a customer review. Since it is said to fit in the warning triangle storage areas of numerous VW and Audi models including the Touareg and A7, I am assuming that it will fit in the Cayenne's tailgate.
I bought a Porsche branded first aid kit from Suncoast Porsche online after my wife took a bloody fall a few weeks after I bought the Cayenne in 2022. It's well equipped but I added alcohol wipes and extra large adhesive bandages to it. It's velcro strap holds it securely in the indentation on the driver side of the cargo area.
? My 2024 Turbo e-Hybrid certainly does have the map pocket compartment at the forward underside of the front seat. US spec, 18-way club leather.
This is weird. I haven't seen any MY2024 with the any pocket compartment underside the front seat unless you mean the nets on the back of the front seatbacks. Can you take photos?

Not referring to the nets. There is indeed a compartment with a latching door on the forward underside of the front seats. Will happily take pics when the car is back in my possession — currently on an enclosed transport to the summer house.

So we are waiting for the pics. I also have a Turbo e-Hybrid with 18-way seats and no storage compartments under the front seats. I have a factory-installed fire extinguisher (optional) under the passenger seat.

Yep. This is one of those things I purposely checked when I took delivery. Because of this thread actually. I suspect the compartments are offered only with seat consoles in leather, which I selected.
Front and rear seat consoles and storage compartments in black leather with free choice of stitching color.

That’s good to know. When you get a chance, please take a pic of the part numbers.
The Cayenne has precious little storage space available. I recently discovered a little more space. You would think that Porsche would document these compartments located under the front of the driver’s and passenger’s seats but I couldn’t find any.
So here are some pictures (taken with some difficulty) of these hidden compartments:
For 19-23 models, there is a huge space in the battery compartment under the passenger foot, remove the rug and the compartment cover and it is just there beside the battery itself.
