Great story, Pushinit. That brings up another point for those like me who bought pre-owned — Treasure Hunt! You never know what you may find in these obscure compartments.
Funny enough - I found a check for $48k in this compartment. Turns out my car was previously owned by some B-list celebrities.
The Cayenne has precious little storage space available. I recently discovered a little more space. You would think that Porsche would document these compartments located under the front of the driver’s and passenger’s seats but I couldn’t find any.
So here are some pictures (taken with some difficulty) of these hidden compartments:
Somehow, I remember somebody saying that space was for a fire extinguisher?
From: northwest US, but also victoria b.c. and nyc
okay the compartment is not present. i have the 14 ways seats w massage and ventilation etc. club leather. not sure if any of that would matter.base coupe. 2024.

Thanks, saved me crawling on my knees and looking myself! (same: 2024 Base Coupe)
Regardless of model, new Cayennes do not have this storage compartments under the front seats. Cost savings.
Yet another .2 interior cheapening measure.
Fewer square inches of in-color leather
no seat storage compartment
no large bolsters for rear seats when Sport Seats are chosen
matte black vs bright finish seat control buttons
reduced availability of club leather
cheapened interior door release levers
Do .2 seats have the “magazine” pocket in the front seat back panel?
