Any accessories, add-ons or modifications you've made to your Cayenne? Front-row window tint seems like an obvious one I'm interested in making. We have the roof rails, not sure if we'll add the cross bars (we have a pickup truck for hauling). Not gonna lie, the $45, Porsche crested 20-oz drink tumblers are calling me. What did you do to spiff up your truck?
You may want rear cargo liners. I’ve had both the Porsche and the Weathertech liners. Porsche uses a slick, hard plastic that allows objects to slide around. I didn’t like it so ordered the Weathertech. Weathertech is more rubbery and tends to limit slippage. Note that both liners cover the cargo tie downs. Some modify the liners by cutting notches around the tie downs.
If you prefer a carpeted mat, know that Lloyd’s will soon lose licensing rights to Porsche logos. Another Rennlist thread reports March 20th as last day to order. https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...mbroidery.html
This was my first SUV and found a need for an organizer for my emergency goodies I keep onboard. Went through several iterations until I found these (I bought two). They fit perfectly when placed longitudinally along each side side and leave an open space in the middle. They also provide a nice corral for the slip-sliding plastic grocery bags. (Pictured, below. Note that Weathertech is installed in wife’s car. I’m happy with OEM carpet.)

I wish I knew this about before I bought the Porsche one, I can't stand that it's so slippery. I may eventually check out the Weathertech one.
I also wish they made a simple cargo net for groceries instead of the one that "traps" things down.
I splurged on the tumbler in Miami Blue when I was at PEC. It makes the crappy work coffee taste better!
Full front PPF and 35% tint over the insulated glass are up first. Probably a Rennline phone holder. Cross bars for the bike racks. Probably Weathertech front mats / liners. Extra set of wheels and tires, 18s if they clear the brakes and Falken Wildpeak ATs for light offroading.
I ordered the Cargo Management System, will evaluate and adjust if needed based on the above recommendations.
Porsche Projector LED puddle Lights: https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/SKULEDPRO.html. These project a crisp, focused Porsche logo on the ground each time the door is opened. Sold in pairs, I installed in five minutes. Order two if you want them on all four doors.
Valve Stem Caps: https://www.suncoastparts.com/produc...Category_Code= These are a nice touch especially since your wheel center cap Porsche crests are pointing towards them. You do have your center cap crests aligned with your valve stems — don’t you? Hmmm? 😎
Every car needs a set of 100% copper jumper cables. Don’t forget a nice Bucket Boss case to stow them.
Lastly, your Cayenne has a Lithium starter battery that operates and charges much differently than a lead-acid battery. You cannot use a lead-acid battery charger on a lithium battery; it requires a special Lithium Battery Charger. I’ve been happy with this CTEK charger. It is essentially the same charger that Porsche, Mercedes, Ferrari, and other high-end auto manufacturers re-brand and then charge you double for the fancy name.
Consider a portable jump charger. My previous post suggested jumper cables, but that requires another charitable driver to stop and offer to jump you. Thanks to a post by @dasams I purchased an Antigravity XP-10 Micro-Start. The battery will start your Cayenne multiple times on one charge, weighs just 18 ounces, measures 9 x 3 x 1.25 inches, comes in a handy case, and doubles as an emergency power supply to charge phones, tablets, and laptops.
EDIT: dasams reports that the smaller XP-1 also works very well.
Woo-Hoo! I finally had a chance to use my XP-10 Micro-Start. Daughter’s car had a completely dead battery. Daddy to the rescue! I hooked it up and it provided plenty of juice to rapidly crank a Lexus 3.0L V6 engine. Fast and easy.
Daughter was amazed how such a small battery could start her engine. I was impressed, as well, considering I initially charged the battery when purchased in August and it still had plenty of juice after 4 months of sitting in the back of my Cayenne.
European Cayennes come equipped with a warning triangle stored in a compartment located in the rear cargo door. U.S. deliveries do not — the compartment is empty. Feeling cheated, I tried a couple different US-spec DOT approved models from Amazon but they were too big and didn’t fit the Cayenne’s compartment.
Further research found that Gembra manufactures the Trimicro triangle for the European manufacturers, who re-brand them. I found this BMW branded Trimicro for $22 + shipping on the Bimmer World site (BMW Part #71606770487) https://www.bimmerworld.com/BMW-MINI...606770487.html
It fits perfectly in the Cayenne’s cargo door compartment. I feel cheated no more!

Any idea what goes in the large flat space? Booklet of some sort?
I’m pretty sure it is for the First Aid Kit, Porsche Part # 9Y0860282B. An online review stated this about the part:
“My new Porsche Cayenne had an empty hole in the tailgate for the emergency triangle and medical kit. Turns out the USA dealers only sell one medical kit that doesn't fit in that space. Sunset Porsche Parts was able to supply the european kit that fits perfectly in the space.”
I just ordered it for $67 + $10 shipping from here: EDIT: Received this email from US Porsche Parts: “This is not available at all at this time, so we will cancel the order. There is a medical kit available, but I will have to find that and dig for the part number if you are interested.” FAIL. Not interested in doing business with them. https://www.usporscheparts.com/oem-p...kit-9y0860282b
That’s pretty expensive for a first aid kit but I’ll take one for the team to see if it fits. I’ll post a review with pictures when it arrives first week of April.EDIT: Sumset advises 3-6 weeks for delivery from Germany.
I posted this somewhere else, but I think it should probably go here for better visibility.
With regards to the first aid kit, I lucked out and found an ideal fit for the Cayenne: PN 971-860-258. (Its listed as a first aid kit for the 2017-2020 Panamera), It also comes with a triangle inside - you just take it out of the kit and attach it separately.
