Cayenne e hybrid idle vibrations

Cayenne e hybrid idle vibrations
Hi Does anyone notice a vibration through seats and steering wheel if idling with engine running? I’ve no comparison to see if this is how the car usually behaves or if it’s a particular issue. No other vibration issues whilst driving/accelerating - just on idle with sports chrono on sport mode in order to get engine to run.
We have to decide wether to keep the car (2019 MY) or hand back. Dealer has acknowledged vibrations but after testing say it is normal. Porsch tech also apparantly have no idea about this issue.
i am thinking engine mounts although only 15k on clock and have seen a bulletin on exhaust mount replacement which apparantly causes vibration in footwell and steering.
the car door seems to vibrate if opened - sort of feels like it running on Diesel engine! No fluctuation in idle needle,
apparently improves as engine warms dealer says - haven’t had a chance to see that fo my self - so it’s more a cold idle issue it appears.
Any suggestions or same experience out there?

I cant believe that there is something inherently wrong with it as a used car with only 15k but they are refusing to do any more that check diagnostics - not even change plugs (apparenty not enough vibration to warrant this and not identified as probable cause). It has had all of the necessary recall work done.
I did notice that the oil level was low - and it had had an oil change service approx 2500 miles before - could this be an issue does anyone think?
The mounts are dynamic now apparently so again the tolerances can be checked with diagnostics.
I cant think of anything else other than poor fuel - fuel guage is low - could this have sucked crap through - or fuel/air filters clogged
the exhaust mount recall was not for my car but a DCM reprogram has been
Dealer has now said that he sat in a v6 in the garage and has the same vibrations!
any one else with a theory or experience?

bummer - love the car apart from that.

Thanks - not filling me with much hope now - sounds like I shouldn't be taking the car - which is gutting - sounds like the dealer service dept dont want to do anything much more about it above and beyond the computer diagnosis so wont be left with much choice.

yeah - you're right - guess ill have to keep waiting for the next one to come along - not many in the 2018 year (2019) model around - cant afford to go any newer!
I'm not quite sure what happens to the Porsche finance now as we are over the 14 days period with that - will probably attempt to charge us an early redemption fee plus interest accrued to date - will have to argue it out with them no doubt regarding the distance selling arrangement ect.
what a pain.....

I've been driving my 2020 E Hybrid for 8 months/6,000 miles with no noticeable vibrations.

I also have a '20 E Hybrid, just slightly older than Russian Mafia's. I haven't had any vibration issues while engine is running, and I do run in Sport at least a few drives every week to make sure oil is circulating properly.

I think the dealer is now offering to take a proper look. So we may give him a second chance to rectify then see - if no joy hand back and walk away....

Hi, I have a Panamera 971 4s, I have vibrations only when stationary at idle, after turning on the sport there is no vibration. Do you know where to look for the problem? I will be very grateful if you tell me.

We looked at the dynamic engine suspension mounts (after a google seemed to be a reasonable guess) and at the exhaust mounts. The Porsche specialist eng said that this had been checked and that there was no issue. I believe they contacted Germany as well to find a solution.
Im no expert but in your case it seems a different problem as only occurring in low idle (it seems) - when you turn to sport the revs jump a bit - but if you leave it in sport for a few moments and the revs drop again does it start to vibrate then?
These cars are so complicated that normal 'man in the pub talk about how to fix things' doesn't apply and what would normally be a simple fix cost 100s - A rough idle on an old car was just like turning the throttle screw on a lawnmower.
Now its all totally electronically controled so has to be plugged in and diagnosed.
Dont know your situation - i.e if car is new or you had it for a while and its just started - but would get it looked at by your dealer
In my case I was disappointed that there was absolutely no suggestions from thier side or it seemed no desire to solve the issue.
I think it came down to cost of repair for the dealer which perhaps wouldn't have been completely covered by Porche head office so they didnt even attempt to correct in the end.
We ended up giving car back for full refund and no payments on the finance agreement- although the cheeky bstard tried to take 2k from us for the privilege of having a faulty car for over a month which had now 'depreciated'.
I went direct to head office to sort it - they were helpful to be fair.

hello everyone in my Panamera 971 I solved the problem with the vibration of my idling. I finally have the idle speed is smooth I solved it myself, the mechanics and the Porsche service pretended that these cars work like this and nothing can be done about it! Embarrassing!
