Guys over here in the UK are using the same ECU tune as they do on the turbo to take it to 620bhp .

Techart has one but only available overseas.

race chips offers one but I’ve never heard of them before so I’m wary.

I installed a race chip on my turbo a few weeks ago. Works great, no complaints.

One thing to keep in mind is the GTS has a lighter-duty transmission which Porsche specified for the build than the Turbo. While you can probably tune the engine to Turbo specs, you should ask yourself if you have faith in the rest of the drivetrain for it to hold up to the added power. Myself, I would not, but that's just me.

I heard that but, has anyone confirmed it is in fact a different drivetrain?

I'm sure you can dig deeper into it.

Quite an expense to reengineer a transmission for every model in a range, so you do wonder if they did or just inferred so to keep turbo customers happy.

I wonder this too. I know they decreased the turbo boost by 7 PSIs and in my mind, that’s probably the biggest difference for the speed. I had a tune on my old GTS Macan and it had no issues

Perhaps someone could cross reference the part numbers and see if they are different parts when ordered.

The part numbers for GTS and Turbo Panamera 971 are the same. The drivetrain statement difference was also stated for the Panamera. I have not checked the Cayenne

lol, no intention here. IMO too much of a gamble, unless a car is off warranty. Curious on those that do this, to see the impact on 0-60, 1/4, etc.
