I am pretty sure you would still leave in plugged to avoid error warnings. Hopefully the paint is thick enough so the light doesn't shine through.

I ordered a set from a vendor who ASSURED me they were clear fronts for my '21 GTS. They arrived and were OEM amber <rolling eyes>. He didn't even bother to open them up and check them as per my request prior to shipping. I don't think they exist.

I plan to simply mist-paint mine black while in place with a good tape job.

If enough interest i can look into getting clear versions produced (lens only). Just need an OEM Set to copy from and DIY may be involved removing the lenses.

I'll buy a set @ $ 110 or less.

Getting the SUV clear bra, tints and ceramic coating done. I told them to smoke the side markers. Sounds like too much trouble to get this clear markers at the moment.

I would be interested. I have actually been reaching out to manufacturers to see how hard it would be to produce them using a 3d printer. I am working on getting a CAD drawing created as a first step but it's not cheap. If you have an easier way to get these produced/created, I'm in.

def wouldnt use a 3D printer. way too brittle and wouldnt look nearly as good as a casted model. Resin casting is an option or pay up front for an injection mold.

If you search threads about side markers, I’ve tried pretty much all the “should fit” options and nothing currently on the market fit the 9Y0.

I would be interested in a set but I know for the fact that the cost for the startup for it (Mold, etc) would be a lot higher than it would be worth unless we line up hundreds of customers.

At night, this is the light bleed. I have yet to paint the bulb with black grill paint to block light. I was recommended "bulb buddy" by the PPF tech but could not find anything online.
