If the past is anything like the future, I used their website to search a 2015 Porsche Cayenne S w/ 80K miles and they estimate $28K-$31K.

I have a Mercedes 2020 GLE (E-Active Body Control suspension) with an original warranty expiring in a year. I plan to keep the vehicle until 2030 and I'd like to get an extended warranty to cover me until that time. This is my first MB and this model year was a major model revision. Lastly, I only drive around 8000mi per year. I received two quotes:

**MB extended warranty** for 3yrs @ 75k miles and $0 deductible for $2450, after this expires I'd have to figure out how to get another 4yrs from a 3rd party, most likely Fidelity.

**Fidelity Platinum warranty** for 7yrs @ 70k miles:
  • $0 deductible is $5530
  • $100 deductible is $4642
  • $250 deductible is $3981
No significant issues with the vehicle so far. Minor issues include a broken spring on the center console storage door and a broken floormat anchor in 24,000 miles. It seems like Fidelity is the better option for long term, just have to decide which deductible is best. Would love to hear some thoughts on this.

I know the MB extended warranty begins when the original warranty ends but does Fidelity do the same if I buy now or does the warranty clock start once I buy it?

How does the mileage work? For example 7yrs and 70k miles, Is it total miles on the odometer or amount of miles I can drive during that warranty period.

Directly from our FAQ section - read below:

When will my coverage start? When it comes to making a financial investment, there is nothing more valuable than peace of mind. All protection plans begin on the PLAN PURCHASE DATE and the CURRENT ODOMETER READING. In clearer terms, when purchasing the plan now, the years shown will begin TODAY and the mileage shown will be ADDED to the current odometer reading. This system uses the remaining factory coverage of your vehicle to populate the lowest available pricing. Drivers who purchase their plans earlier will always see higher term coverage options, at much lower rates. For savvy consumers, the earlier the plan is purchased, the better. Pricing will increase as years and mileage accrue, and plan options disappear quickly. Any questions? Call (401) 723-4700 to discuss in detail.

The Porsche dealership is offering this service contract Veritas Global Protection - Premier Plus. Does anyone have experience with this warranty Pros and Cons?

It's an exclusionary plan which is what you want, meaning instead of telling you what they cover they tell you what they WON'T cover, which is consumables like brake pads. That's how the Fidelity Platinum plan works, and exactly the only kind of plan I would buy.

Googling Veritas shows a high level of dissatisfaction. I'm not familiar with them. Get the best price you can on it then see if you can get a Fidelity Platinum for the same price. Used to be some guys here doing 45% off list for Fidelity.

EDIT: FWIW a Porsche service manager told me he would rather deal with Fidelity than the Porsche extended service plan. Fidelity was easier to work with.

I've had no problem getting repairs approved and paid for through my Fidelity warranty when necessary.

You must purchase a Vehicle Service Contract from a FL retailer if you are a FL resident.

Is that a change? I bought a Fidelity policy from you for a Florida vehicle.

Just clarifying this is not in regards to Highline-Autos in our ability to provide Fidelity Platinum coverage to residents in Florida.
