If the coverages are the same, what differenciates the Freedom and Fidelity?
You're going to want to purchase the extra year of coverage below the 35K mile mark before you jump another pricing tier with Fidelity. The difference is for these vehicles Freedom has a payout cap on the policy at $20K, vs Fidelity's is the value of the vehicle.... which you're probably thinking "why would anyone choose Freedom", well when Fidelity wants close to, or over $10K vs. Freedom's under $5K, there is a value proposition there to go with the policy easiest to come out a head on, just saying what I've seen based on the claims payouts and ratios of both companies.

If I want to go with the Fidelity Platinum, 60 months/additional 60K miles, do I need to start before 35K miles?
Can you please clarify 60 months/additional? when do they start?
You can also send me a DM.
Thank you

Perfect, I think the Freedom 125k mile / 5 year makes the most sense (if that's +5 years from start of contract). Will contact you end of year.

Interesting, let's pretend there's catastrophic engine failure at 80k miles and need a refurb engine put in... I imagine in even a base Cayenne, that's 20k+ work... in that case does Freedom just say no thanks and hands you a 20k check? Whereas Fidelity will cover it up to market value of a 80k mile cayenne in 2027 (pretend year)?

If that's the case, and let's say engine failure happens closer to near the end of the term, Freedom and FIdelity are nearly the same right if the value of the car isn't very high.

To add to the question, if you’ve already had X work done for 5k and you get a 16k repair, is it a policy limit?

With Fidelity , if the car is valued at 90k today and you get a 7k repair, and in 4 years you get another 20k repair but the car is valued at 50, the plan seems better

at the end it’s going to be hard to claim a high repair 10 years in for Fidelity , an 06 Cayenne is like 10k right now on autotrader

We're looking to close on a 2020 Porsche Base with 53,500 miles this weekend.
Could you provide a quote for coverage?

Correct, under 35K miles keeps you from that additional tier of pricing.

Fidelity is additional miles from the purchase of the contract, Freedom is until the odometer hits 100K miles.

If you'd like to send me an email you can at tgibson@highline-autos.com

Default ANNOUNCEMENT: *NEW* Online Fidelity Quoting Portal now live!

Hey all!

After several months of rigorous backend work, our brand-new Fidelity Quoting Portal is finally complete. The new site has an extremely easy to use layout, and will provide ALL options available through Fidelity. Previously, our system had limitations and could only present a select number of options, and most often left out the lower term plans, many of which are of interest to Rennlist/Porsche drivers.

The new system will instantly pull all data from Fidelity and quote instantly online - we've tested it for weeks now, and it seems to works flawlessly. It will present all three tiers of coverage, along with all terms/mileage, and all deductibles. The same goes for the Tire/Wheel Protection plans through Fidelity.

The site is now live with the new portal, so feel free to give it a try - and of course, I always welcome feedback.

We also have adjusted our overall pricing structure, and will continue to be among the lowest prices nationwide - we hope this new portal helps current Porsche owners, along with future owners during their vehicle search find the best Fidelity coverage plans available for their driving habits. We appreciate the constant support here, and are thrilled to be a continued sponsor. We support many forums, but none with the members as enthusiastic as Rennlist.

Further, we have put together a GIVEAWAY CONTEST to go along with the announcement of our new Fidelity Portal - click here to enter the contest, and you'll have a chance to win a $500.00 Amazon Gift Card - this was the best thing we could think of to show our appreciation, while appealing to most, if not all, of the member here. Thanks again to all those who have purchased from us, and those in the future - and remember, the RENNLIST promocode for $200.00 is still valid, so be sure to use it at checkout!

I'd always recommend looking at the Porsche Branded Service Contract.

Might be surprised on the coverage options and pricing

For me, the Porsche one was double the price of the Fidelity. I haven’t decided whether to replace the car yet but doubt I would buy the Porsche warranty.

From what I understand it’s also just a rebranded Fidelity contract..? Maybe I misread that.

A non-car-selling dealer I asked if they are able to sell it, said yes, only to ghost me once I followed up. I ended up choosing Fidelity for its coverage. My dealer wanted about 6.5k and only had a discount if I got prepaid maint. I believe it wasn’t for 10 yr either, I think it extended it 1 more year beyond original but they weren’t very helpful to discuss it. They mainly wanted to sell me wheel protection. YMMV

FWIW, my Porsche needed a repair this week for the first time since I purchased a Fidelity warranty (from Steingold Volvo). Fidelity paid for the entire repair (less the deductible) with no drama. My Porsche dealer did the repair and successfully submitted the claim to Fidelity for me while my vehicle was in service.
