Rear lettering option: PORSCHE in satin black - 'GTS' in gloss black (to match window trim)

I do several small sections and return to the cool and comfort of the house, then go back out and do several more sections, etc. I expect other brands of these modern paint-protection products are used the same way.

Unfortunately mechanical car washes start to leave swirl marks on the paint and trim…and occasionally worse if out of alignment. I stumbled on a much better/easier DIY Ceramic solution for both wash and wax. This seems almost too good to be true based on the price and ease of use.

If my car is “wintertime dirty” I add a step of going to a wand type wash to remove the worst of the dirt.
Sold for $26 on Amazon, enough for many wash jobs. Don’t let the price fool you, this is as good as any individual Ceramic coating that I’ve used over the years but so much easier. The deep shine remains through a coating of dust and it lasts at least as long as the next wash job.
You wash a section at a time, rinse, complete the car and then towel off with microfiber towels. You can see a film on the car after rinsing. The water beads so much after the first wash job that I needed 6-7 towels to dry my car. I now use my weed blower to remove some of the water drops. You coat the paint, trim, glass and it leaves no wax lines to PPF edges, at least not for the 6 months I’ve been using it. My glass is clean with no streaks.
Edit-that’s a telephone pole reflection in the lower door.

My CT is waiting to get on a ship to leave Germany and head to the West Coast, going through euro delivery pics to make the wait more tolerable!

My 2021 CT that I'll trade-in for the new one. Lessons learned after 1 year - dark grey was too subtle of a color for me, and the Cayenne needs 22s IMO. Love the non-PSE turbo exhaust tips, probably the biggest reason why I ordered 2 Turbos

Which color are you thinking for the next one? In my opinion Porsche should add more colors to the Cayenne line up as the existing ones are all pretty boring… the Macan is much better in this area. Maybe the 2024s will fix this.

Went with chalk for the replacement (sorry should have been clear - the first set of pics), because my allocation missed the PTS window. Really really happy I had to "settle" for chalk, as I wanted something different but not loud. Some say it looks like primer but I really dig it

I agree on the limited available colors, especially on the TGT. I was cross shopping the G63 and couldn’t believe the wide variety of options. Chalk looks great, in the respect it looks different and less boring.

Thank you for the reply. We are at 600 miles with her, my wife had a great solo day today. I was sipping my Woodford contemplated a trade of the all season for p-zeros. I need feedback on the performance improvement vs. hassle factor for convincing great dealership to an reasonable upsell to summer tires. Surly they can put them on the 2020 eHybrid they are selling that has road rash on both rear wheels and a gouged sidewall I noticed before the GTS appeared on their lot for immediate delivery. Cigar, woodford, enthusiast thoughts….

We here!
Thanks to @bouleydetailing for ceramic coating, @houstonpff for Xpel Stealth wrap and ceramic tint and @houstoncarenthusiast for the pics. The wife is happy with it. Wouldn't put her in anything less.

PCCB -- the dust free life.

It's de-badged, so this is the only way you will know - or the armrest embossing. 😁

Escort Redline 360c and Blendmount tucked neatly with the Blackvue DR750X-2CH LTE (has an LTE sim, and connected to B-124X and B-124E for 3 day recording).
