Congrats on your new ride. See you in the area. I have not seen one 3rd gen GTS on road in DMV area so far, except at the dealerships.

The Touareg is a great vehicle that we've had for more than a decade. Fantastic quality and capability, but it is starting to feel just a bit old. We originally planned to replace it with the Cayenne, but with the price of used Teslas going through the roof and a second baby, it made more sense to flip the model 3 and just keep on chugging along with the old VW.

...but here's mine, a 2019 Turbo.. Retrieved it in Utah last month.. Had about 10 months left on warranty; I added 4 years and 100,000 miles.. I HATE the way-too-dark window tinting on driver, passenger, and rear windows and probably will get it removed and redone to Arizona-legal.. Replaced tires with YOKOHAMA AVID GT S35As.
I detailed it myself with 'Torque Detail' ceramic products.. https://www.torquedetail.com/collect...-care-products

Click on About My Vehicle, scroll down to Window Sticker, then click “Download a copy of the Monroney label”.
I’m guessing your sticker will show Biscay Blue Metallic, the launch color, named for the Bay of Biscay in France.

TYVM and TYVM. I have it machine washed because it's too big for this 78-year-old to do himself, but I 'polish' it myself.. The latter is quite easy with the Torque Detail ceramic products* which are applied in small sections and wiped off.. I do several small sections and return to the cool and comfort of the house, then go back out and do several more sections, etc. I expect other brands of these modern paint-protection products are used the same way.
* Just so that any reader understands, I'm just a Torque Detail customer who orders online and pays regular retail prices.
