Hi all! Just an update. I e-mailed Porsche South Bay yesterday to see if there was a solution for the PSCB chirping sound. I am at 7,000 miles with no change well perhaps other than it is getting louder! On the positive side, I am telling friends and curious onlookers that this is part of Porsche's new PWS system (Pedestrian Warning System) and I actually had a few believers. I sure hope Porsche some day decides to fix the very annoying issue! Will be eager to hear if any other fellow PWS optioned Turbo's have a solution? Thanks

Will definitely say this about the PSCB they are sensitive and you really need to modulate them coming to a stop but Holly #### do they haul the car down from speed!
Haven't exasperated anything adverse yet and hoping won't have squealing issues!!!

My '19 Turbo is at the dealer for the third time. Really hoping they can address and fix the issue. Despite being very nice and well-organized, I have little faith in the two issues being resolved. Until Porsche owns up to the matter, then it's not going to be fixed. I sure hope I am wrong and they fix the issue, will report back later. PS - besides the chirping, I have a crunching/grinding noise when i come to a stop. That's the second issue

My squeal was was sort of intermittent in the beginning. I would have periods where it would be gone. Over time became less frequent. At 4,000 miles it has finally stopped.

Was told there is part coming from Germany...a brake caliper retainer to solve the chirping/squeal at low speeds sans break application. Will be here sometime next week and I am hoping this will solve the issue. Will report back!

Yeh.
Apparently retainer clip is for rears and will be available shortly.
And a new pad is available for fronts which should help as well as reduce that crunching, groaning noise from the front you get at times when coming to a complete stop.

I finally had enough of the chirping squealing sounds from the brakes and called my dealership to complain. I have a service appointment in 2 weeks and was told there are no service notifications on the brakes. I did ask about other notifications and was told I need a service update on the software. I have already been stranded once by the failure to start problem. It hasn’t happened again so hopefully these software updates won’t cause a failure to start. I have 6,000 miles now and my chirping squealing started at about 2,000 miles. I heard a new sound this week too, at slow speeds without the brakes applied I get another high pitched squeal which I assume is that retainer clip issue i’m reading about. Between failure to start and brake sounds, I’m disappointed in Porsche and would not buy another one soon. I’ve never been disappointed so quickly after buying a new vehicle. Anyone else recommend a reliable vehicle for $150,000 (my cost for turbo) I can buy next year?

Alright that’s it, I’m spec’ing PCCB. I figure the PCCB will pay for themselves over the PSCB after one hypothetical PSCB front brake service at ~40,000 miles (my best estimate assuming normal iron brakes is 30,000 mile and Porsche claims 30% increases life) when the $4000 front rotors plus pads need replacing.
