Too bad it’s not an option thru the app on your phone. Volvo does that. I’m sure it’s just a matter of coding.
We had a thread about this in the Panamera forum. It was news to me that Porsche doesn't provide any option for remote start on *any* of its vehicles. I got very used to this on my Volvo that I otherwise am happy to see go. In fact, I was also surprised to learn, but right in the manual Porsche says not to let a vehicle idle, that it should be driven off more or less right away. If that's their philosophy - whether environmentally or engineering driven - then it seems like it's not something Porsche is likely to provide.
I found the solution to this problem. For those of you interested I found it !! Remote starter for the 2018-2019 Cayenne. Plug and Play. I for sure will be getting one. 12volt.solutions

doubt it’s just coding, because Porsche does no allow it in any market. Maybe because it’s illegal to idle a vehicle in Germany. it’s been like that at least since the 80’s.
This was very hard to do with the 958. I would love it, so I am curious too, but I am going to say most likely extremely difficult.
We have a 100% plug and play kit for the 2018+ Cayenne! We also have a kit (not on the site yet) for the 2011-2017 Cayenne. Some others we have covered:

@12volt.solutions NICE!! How does the app work communicating to the vehicle? Is a subscribed service required (4G/LTE or something)?

I would hope not... do you want to give some 3rd party cloud service (and anyone that can gain access to it) remote access to your car’s ignition system?
Not particularly, but I'm curious how the app in the video communicates with the remote starter. Also curious what the distance limitation is (not very useful if it only works from 30ft or less).
