Still waiting on delivery of our Turbo. But I’ve read about this problem for months. Saw a YouTube video of an S owner in the Middle East who had issues with his “disappearing.” He thought somebody stole his. Maybe. But there’s a chance it just fell off.
Forgive me if this sounds redneck, but I’m a fan. Has anyone tried J-B Weld? I am serious. Greatest stuff ever invented. My father-in-law used it to mend an exhaust header (?) nearly 30 years ago. I was sold right then.

wiper blade cover repair
I decided to drill a hole thru the plastic cover into the metal arm below. Used a black metal screw to hold the cover on, since its black it blends right in..... no much for Porsche engineering..... its the little stuff that makes a difference

rear wiper blade defect?!!?
Picked up my custom-ordered '19 Cayenne, then nearly a week later I noticed the wiper blade had gone missing. Porsche replaced it... so all good.
Took "Pepper" in for her first wash, and I saw it fly off even with it being 'blue-taped' down! I snapped it back in but this is nothing I've experienced with any car or Porsche I've ever owned.

Sorry to quote myself. From “Undercover Turbo Snuck In”:
”Don't forget to remove your wiper arm cover and reattach it properly by snapping on the end guide to the right first, then rotating it down to the left until it clicks on. Ours was sort of laying on there, just like nearly all the other Cayennes and Panameras at our dealer. How hard is it to ensure this happens at the factory, Porsche?)”
Our SA showed us this trick after pointing out they’d lost over a dozen Panamera / Cayenne rear wiper arms. Do it right and it’s stuck on there like you used contact cement. Do it wrong, as the Slovakian installers have been doing, and your rear wiper arm will fly off if you blow on it hard.

It is my understanding that the rear wiper covers are not installed at the factory instead being installed at the port of entry apparently by people who may not know the correct procedure.

Yes — what porscherex said. The cover is nearly impossible to remove when installed properly.
And rex, thanks for the correction re: port install of the cover. You are right. I libeled the fine people of Slovakia for no good reason! It’s the goons in Houston who did the bare minimum in slapping ours on.

I am really the only person that thinks is strange that the wiper does not life off the window other than about 1/8 inch....... real pain for cleaning the back window. Does anyone know if the wiper off a Macan or maybe Audi would work better and I could just swap it out ?
