Got a text from our SA a little while ago confirming your post. There’s apparently a trucking shortage at our port (of course!), so no movement yet on our Turbo. But at least it CAN move!

Great news, unfortunately I am leaving on vacation Friday and not coming back till New Year’s eve. I guess I’ll have to wait a week or so till I take delivery of mine.

My Turbo is coming in over the weekend or Monday. Won't be able to do the paperwork until after Christmas (in MA you have to complete all of the paperwork and payment before you can get plates and take your car). Looks like it will be a pick up either Dec 31 or Jan 2. The end of the wait is in sight.

Very jealous. Also in D/FW. Our is still sitting down in Houston. Wish ours could've hitched with yours.

Too dark for pics now but really like it. A lot of options to configure. Wow. Very very planted on the road. Got up to 85MPH on the way home.

Someone was asking earlier: the engine and transmission were made in Germany. 56% German parts. 27% Slovakian parts.

Fuel economy is 17MPG combined. 15 city and 19 highway.

any recommendations for breaking in engine? i know porsche recommends keeping it below 4000 rpm first 2000 miles how about sustained highway speed is this an ok way to break in engine or would you recommend varying the speed thanks for your input

You got to vary the speeds up and down especially on the highway.

thoughts on downshifting to a lower gear to change engine rpm have same effect as actually varying the speed???

I would just let it do it naturally. The varying speed is more about breaking in the wear components and having it settle in outside of the engine.... wheel bearings, turn joints, lubrication of various systems etc...
