Diesel gets better mileage especially while towing. Consider this if your planning on towing a lot.

I've been getting this quite a bit lately, for better or worse and it comes with owning and driving a Porsche;

At the gas station, "Check out that Porsche towing the "V(nosed trailer)"

At the snowmobile loading/unloading area "I can't believe you are towing that with a Porsche."

Used my 958tt to tow home a project a few months back. Had no issues pulling, but I was sure happy to unhook the trailer once home

I notice people do a double-take when they realize what's pulling my trailer when they pass me on the highway; I can only imagine what it's like for those pulling a bigger 8.5' x 24' enclosed!

I've always avoided parking overnight (like at a hotel) while towing my trailer even with my Chevy Avalanche.. Nefarious types would DEFINITELY assume there's something of high value in the trailer now!

^^^ I agree, and when staying at hotels, I usually try to shove the backend of the trailer tight up against the building, or a big row of trees. And zero stickers on the side of my trailer giving away any affiliation with what might be inside.

I get some help from my trailers LED lighting system (20' v-nose Covered Wagon as shown in post # 67 above) and when the Cayenne Security system is active, the trailer LED lights blink in a pattern. So it definitely looks as though my trailer has a security system. If a person were to disconnect the hitch cable from the Cayenne, it activates the alarm.

Started towing a Grey Wolf 26DBH travel trailer with the 958 Diesel last fall and really happy with it. Pulls easily and added a Prodigy P3 brake controller which works like a champ.

Wife just bought herself a 2020 Grand Touring Limited 900 ACE.

My 2019 GT-L 600R is in the trailer and the SnoScoot goes in last.

This upcoming trail season, is going to hopefully, be awesome.

Man, I'd say that is all of 8,000 lbs, right there.

And after this summer I never had a problem whatsoever! Have people sometimes watching to see if it will make it
Kind of fun seeing pick up trucks next to me spinning their wheels with smaller boats

Is that Grady the 235? (nice boat btw) 4,000-4,500 dry weight without motor. Add motor and gas and its 6,000, add a trailer and its 7,000...add some gear...

I get it all the time, with the boat in tow, at the ramp, gas stations . . .

No one believes that the Cayenne will ever get the boat back up the ramp, but slowly and steadily, it gets the entire job with no muss, no fuss.

I love it.

Thanks! Yes Freedom 235. Can't say I wasn't worried at first. Never found an accurate number for the steel hardtop weight either
With fuel/water gear etc I figured fully loaded would be close to 8000. Pulls fantastic though, truly no effort at all with the diesel
