Sorry, I'll get some videos and photos this weekend and post a thread.

Summary, it sounds great outside and barely noticeable inside. Really happy that I tried.

Wonder how this would work (if at all) on a 958.2s?

It depends if the .2 has the same blanking plate over the secondary exit as the .1 in the standard exhaust. Go take a look and report back!

no unfortunately the S does not have one less pipe - I.e it has two pipes from the muffler to the tips. However so does the 997. So there is the possibility of the gundo hack that creates a bypass from prior to entry to the exit (I.e muffler bypass )…..

I'm unsure on the gundo hack, but if you're looking at welding anyway it would be pretty easy to cut open the suitcase and remove all the wadding, of which there's a lot. It's made a nice difference on mine.

Did you end up getting new tail pipes as well? Any video of it now with sound?

thanks. That’s what I would like to do. Any chance you can provide a bit more information on where to cut a hole to remove? Did u do both sides and what was the sound result? Thanks!!

edit - I see you have the 958.1 so I see how you took the stuff out of the hole. I don’t really want to cut the suitcase without any previous information of what it will be inside and the impact to the sound…hence asking for any 958.2s owners who may have attempted…thx

You ever get a photo of what it looks like inside the muffler where you opened it up ? It stuck a camera in mine and can’t see back there through normal exit

Yep, totally useless photo lol. Here's a bad video of the other side where you can just about make out the crosspipe (front to back)
