Double CPO - CD
Hi Guys,
Just heard from my dealer concerning the automatic CPO for all Diesels.
I purchased my CD with CPO, so the free CPO did nothing for me.
For cars purchased with CPOs, Porsche is now doubling the CPO 2 more years and extending the mileage to 200K miles!
I am thrilled! I will have this car forever!

Damn... I'm a bit jealous now. Why would they go 200K on the CPOs but not the new ones?
Extending all the CD warranties to 6 (or 8?) and 200K is almost a surefire way to prevent any buyback issues!

so what happens for people that bought new, and paid for warranty?? in my case I opted for the 4 yr/160000 km, the "extra" they are offering means nothing with my coverage already in, now with this CPO deal this is even more bull****.

Got lost in verbiage , brain fart , plus all that crack , *not* a CPO owner oops✌
Ok yah I'll be a little *****d too if new + extended don't get the same stacked warranty as CPO's.

thanks for the clarification! I will be looking into this for my situation now, with this extension I would see no reason to ever want to return the vehicle!

just noticed this wasn't the original poster... damn I thought it meant it now applied to new purchases as well. hopefully Porsche makes this right! you would hope they would look after people that purchased new... offering me something that gives me half of what I purchased and is useless to me and no reimbursement of original cost is not going to satisfy me very well!

We got the CPO coverage without having to be a second owner or pay a premium.
This seems only fair to bump the CPO owners up since they already have the 6/100 AND paid a premium to get it.
I can see new+extended people being upset, but as that warranty is not a Porsche product and they get no profit from it I won't be surprised if PCNA doesn't do anything and you guys will have to deal with your dealer directly for a refund or something.
