The Diesel for my wife is on the Blue.... and scheduled to arrive at the port of Houston NLT 24 July. She is getting excited and I will get our Cayenne "S" back .

We already have rubber floor mats and a cargo matt ready and the dealer has our electric brake controller ready to be installed.

Haha! Yes I have been very consumed with everything going on. The day at the factory in Leipzig was amazing. Seeing my cayenne a and how well the red atitching and red gauges came out made me so happy. My favorite part of the driving experience came when Marion, our host, said: "and now, I am going to show you that you bought a sports car." He then took off flying and turning and braking hard! The vehicle was so stable. It was a great day.

I will try to upload some pics but I don't have many good ones yet. It has been a whirlwind since getting it. We are in Krakow Poland right now and headed to Auschwitz tomorrow morning then off to Prague. So many great features to the car that I need to discover and one of the best things that I got on it was the European Navigation installed! Best $250 I ever spent!

Let's see if I can figure out how to get some pics on here. If not you can check out my blog at www.nevermindaboutthat.wordpress.com.

I am blogging our trip and so their is a LOT of stuff on there, but the day at Leipzig and a few photos are a bit shoddy but you can read about the experience here:

Awesome!

Gives me hope that my car will be here in time for me to leave, given 2.5 weeks from Emden to Houston. It's supposed to depart tomorrow!

Looking forward to pics!

I don't understand the almost month delay from the time it arrives in Houston until it is delivered in Dallas. In the past my cars have taken less than a week from arrival in Houston to my delivery in San Antonio.

My wife's diesel is on the Blue Ridge Highway and due in Houston 24 July. My dealer is expecting it within several days after that. It then gets the wheels powder coated black and the front end protected with Xpel plus a few other itemsd. My wife should have it by the end of July

f4 plt, 2 August was the original estimate. Notice my update, current estimated delivery is "any day now". I expect that to be late this week early next at the latest. The empty garage space is ready for the CD!

The Blue ridge Highway is entering the port of Davisville in Rhode Island to off load. Next stop is the Port of Houston, Tx to unload my wife's diesel and other new toys for expectant owners. Expected in Houston on or before 24 July
