The rear cargo mat doesn't fit 100% so the dealership thought they ordered the wrong 1. Corporate replied that, at least for now, this was the correct mat. Go figure! I'm on the fence as to whether I want it.

I too got that option on my diesel (my previous car had a minor fire!). The kicker though is that should you actually use it, you apparently can't get a direct replacement here in the states

Never had a chance to drive a PASM without Air (they all either had Air was well or no PASM), please share your impressions, if I ever order a CD I may want o configure it this way.

TIA

Looks great! That steering wheel looks very sporty. I liked the smaller (than my touareg) size of the multi so I got that one.

I opt for darker interior because of dogs and my all around ability to just get sh*t dirty. Looks nice though. Congrats.

Great color combination and options. We are looking for something very similar now that the 928GTS sold. We may see what inventory exists or order new.

You'll be safe(er) with the Diesel, doesn't burn as fast as gasoline

we had PASM and air suspension on our 2008 Cayenne GTS and rarely even played with the air suspension. On our twin to the Diesel, a 2011 Cayenne S we have PASM but no air suspension. The Cayenne S has over 35,000 miles on it of which over 10,000 is towing our enclosed Trailex trailer and I never miss air suspension. I did not want the added weight and potential maintenance of air suspension. You also lose a little storage in the rear for the mechanicals of the air suspension. Do like PASM.

Aaaaargg! My ship has been 'out of range' for days now. I was enjoying watching the daily progress. Now I have no idea where it is.

We have had the Cd for not quite a week and have put over four hundred miles on it. For those waiting, we have learned one thing already. If you have a friend that you deal with at your local filling station you won't see them very often any more. So far our mileage is around 24-15 in town, 33 aprox. doing 75-77 (love Texas speed limits) and right at 35 when doing 65-70 and she is not nearly broken in yet. This past weekend I had to tow our regions enclosed 8 ft autocross equipment trailer and I got a smooth 23 which included over 30 miles at 70 mph. What a great vehicle and so quiet, you would only know it's a diesel if you looked at the badges.

Acceleration, even at highway speeds with the trailer is better very good. I'm looking forward to towing my Trailex enclosed trailer with it. I really don't see why anyone would want to pay for the V8 diesel even if they could get one here. Yes 700+ ft lbs of torques sounds great but you would never use it as the Cayenne is chassis limited to towing 7700+ lbs.

Yes better pictures are coming

It's a Cayenne D...cigars for everyone. I was expecting mine around the end of August....dealer emailed me from Spokane and it dropped this weekend. We will drive over to take delivery the end of the week. I have some questions regarding some finish treatments but will post that on a new thread. :-)

A little less than 300 miles here, but similar mileage. I have only done one highway run and that tank got 26 MPG including a bunch of around town stuff.

I'll have better highway fuel data soon enough. So far loving it though.
