Hello guys,
what would be an acceptable drain current value when the vehicle is not running on a Cayenne Turbo 958.1?
Thanks!

per Porsche (AllDataDIY), after 35 minutes with doors locked and passenger compartment monitoring off, and a well equipped car, the calculated closed circuit is 19.45mA +/- 20% with a maximum of 30mA.

I just realized. In the 958.1 to check the current draw do I have to disassemble the front seat to get to the battery and hook the multimeter there or can I use the Battery ports in the engine bay?

In the driver's footwell, there is a precut (if never used it has some precut but not completely) carpet access to the chassis mounted ground cable. Just open it up and unbolt the ground cable. setup your meter. Most load meters are max of 10 amp DC. No idea what the cayenne demands when the ignition is switch on.
1. Switch on ignition for 10 seconds.
2. Switch off ignition.
3. Open the driver's door and close the rotary latch with a screwdriver while the door is open.
4. Lock the vehicle using the central-locking remote control and switch off passenger compartment monitoring (press the button on the remote control twice in one second).
5. Wait 35 minutes before reading off the closed-circuit current.

Thanks again!
After 35min I can check the current and if the value is >30mA I can proceed with unplugging the fuses to check which system is causing the unwanted current drawn. Would this be the correct way to diagnose the unwanted current draw?

In this video you can learn how to know if you are making good contact through the holes at the top of the fuse.

I have another Thread open regarding an issue with the TV-Tuner and back-up camera: https://rennlist.com/forums/cayenne-...a-problem.html
I believe there could be issues with cable being shorted or the TV-Tuner broken and acting up weirdly. A new battery was installed and after not using the car for 3 weeks the battery voltage dropped to 11.7v when the engine was off. I know 3 weeks without turning the car on is a long time, but the voltage shouldn't drop to those levels so soon. That is why I want to check all the circuitry for parasitic draws, especially the TV-Tuner, back-up camera & PCM side of things.
