2012 cayenne with keyless entry
2 new keys programmed
fob works lock and unlock, car starts drives etc.
Key Not Recognized alerts continue to flash on dash.
from outside of vehicle 7on approach only the left rear door button on handle works to lock and unlock.
other three the soft button doesnt work
Prior to new keys dealer found following codes:
C20001 - Communication with CAN safety
C12017 - Communication with rear-end electronics control unit
C12013 - Communication with door control unit, driver
C12014 - Communication with door control unit, passenger
C12016 - Communication with front-end electronics control unit
C12010 - Communication with tailgate control unit

mostly coordinates with the fact that the left rear door DOES work.
what is the culprit that has the other three doors not communicating?

Sounds like 3 of your 4 door handle buttons have failed. The cheap solution is to snip the green wire in the handle to disable the lock function. This will still allow you to unlock the car from any door as long as your key is with you.

I had one door handle go bad so I pulled the bad handle and snipped the wire. No more 'Key Not Recognized' errors and warning gongs. Super annoying.
