Default Cayenne with Roof Box

Here is my Cayenne ( with no factory rails ) and a Ski Box on the roof, I couldn't find much on this setup so I thought some folks might like to see it for reference. Anyone else with roof boxes or racks lets see some pictures............

Looks great! Which model/year Cayenne?

Also love the black trim!

I just ordered a Yakima roof bar system. I have the Cayenne factory roof rails on my 2016 CD. Yakima Timbeline towers (which have been backordered for about 5 months) to connect to roof rails and 60" jet stream bars. I have an older Thule system that I didn't like the way it fit my roof rails. I already have a Yakima roof box. I'll take a picture when it gets here. Supposed to be here in 3-5 days but I'm not counting on it .

You have a link to the bars? I don't quite understand how they attach. I have a set for the 911 but the obviously screw into the roof... without the factory rails, I'm interested and curious.

I have the Thule aero bar setup from my allroad. With a change of feet, the aero bars mount on my factory roof rails or on the Q7 roof rails (different feet).

Not sure whether you had square bars, but I'm pretty happy with the Thule aero setup and how it fastens to the Cayenne and Q7 rails.

Didn't hurt that a good friend recently retired from Thule and had formal "shopping" privileges in the warehouse...I gave him a shopping list, he came back with a trunk full of Thule boxes at $0 US cost.

Looks good. Do you have pano or moonroof? If so, do they still open?

INNO aero crossbar set up and INNO wedge box. Lowest profile I could find. Easily fits through a 7’ garage door. I got the crossbar set up on Amazon and the box through Backcountry free skier

Take a look on the Thule website. Full explanation there, plus list of parts needed, installation instructions, free donuts, etc.

JK on the donuts.

It's a 34 year old fiberglass box from Arc. It was sitting in the garage at the lake house for 30 years. Got tired of looking at it, so I put it to use. Lots of room for skis, snowboards. Even used it for wakesurf boards in the spring.

Thule bars with clamps.

2013 CD Mpg dropped from 31 mpg at 80 mph to 26 -27 mpg at 80 mph.

Another vote for Thule. I have Aero bars and the fit kit shown below on my 2012 CCT with a pano roof and without factory roof rails. I've driven cross country with a Mopar cargo box on the aero bars for hours at a time at 3 digit speeds with no issues. Also carried a 96" 100+lb sofa for 9 hours from CT to VA with no issues.
