Have a 2017 cayenne ehybrid with 2016 gps map file. The download function from Porsche connect doesn’t work. I found this service bulletin from 2020 about gps map offline update. It referenced part number 9P1909000BH. Has anyone else had any luck with this?

I have never seen this bulletin, very interesting.

If anyone gets this offline map update to your PCM, please provide some details including posting pictures of any changes you notice! (+ any changes in version #s)

I found the part on suncoast. I plan on ordering and then having my service department install it. My local Porsche parts said they could order the card too. I’ll attach the link. Also the part is separate from the install and I was told by two sources only service department can install it.

I'm guessing it has some sort of uploading method that can only be done via PIWIS? Or is it generic data that has to be individually encrypted for each radio?

I had Raymond install the carplay whole screen upgrade last night to my 2020 Cayenne. He was super helpful and, most importantly, very patient. I am very happy with the result. Whole screen Waze is so much better and way easier to read. I would highly recommend this upgrade.

innovativesoft does it again. I’m another satisfied customer of his. He is patient thorough and fast. Once my slow self got him set up for all the connections it only took him 15 minutes or so. Everything still works as it should! I got the whole screen option. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!
