Default new floor jack

Time to get a new floor jack. My current 2 ton craftsman has been a workhorse. Between 2 tractors and 5 cars it gets a lot of use. It has been leaking oil for a number of years, it takes about 15 'pumps' to raise the vehicles . I re-fill the oil but doesn't last long. I know cylinders can be rebuilt but I need something dependable. It was my father in law's so it is probably 30+ yrs old.
There is such a range in price . I would like a 3 ton. I want to be able to raise the whole side of 2016 Cayenne. I've seen prices range from 75 to 400 dollars between auto zone and harbor freight.
Anyone have any comments on what brand? price point ? I should look for.

thanks

Jim

My old harbor freight lightweight aluminum jack became unreliable.
this sunex aluminum 1.75 ton jack has made working on my car much more pleasant. Only 39 lbs
other competing quality jacks are often much heavier.
no issues for me raising my race cars and SUVs.

Harbor freight low profile daytona jack. There is an informative youtube video on it. Furthermore, there is a 25% coupon from HF right now. $200 regular prices can be had for $150.

Double check the coupon, as I thought the fine print said not applicable to floor jacks. I was thinking of going the Daytona 3 ton low profile, long reach route.

This jack is heavy, but amazing if you have low cars: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-schwaben.../029121sch01a/

I went with the 71202A. It is serviceable, they have schematics with all the parts. You can actually call them and talk to a person!!

I second the Harbor Freight, but you want to get the yellow one. It's basically a copy of a Snap-On that costs 10x as much, and it's so close that they were actually sued by Snap-On. Do some googling and you can read all about it.

I bought one a year or so ago and it's the best floor jack I've used. It's got a long arm, so the reach is good, and the height is amazing. I use it with these stands (

I used that coupon to buy an AC vacuum pump. Today's HF mailing has a $20 coupon on jacks.
