Default Looking at a 2013 Cayenne Turbo - Will my 18" Winters Carry Over?

After a long debacle regarding a warrenty situation on my Cayenne Diesel, I am looking again at new options...

I have a set of 255/55/18 Wheels (Cayenne S III) which I just put on brand new Nokian Winter tires, I was hoping to use it with the Turbo Model as well. Any ideas if this size of wheel will clear the calipers?

Thanks for any support or input!

I learned the hard way on my CTT... they clear the back, but not the front. 19" wheels minimum on the Turbo.

Thanks TV, really appreciate the response.

I swear I have sold like 5 sets of wheels over the last 6 months... I should just open up a shop at this rate!! Ha ha

Ah - a bit far to get my unused (and basically new) winter tires/rims to.. I'm trying to decide what to do with them since NJ has now changed to a new climate model - no snow. I put on the Michelin magic AS tires on the 21" rims and they are quite satisfactory. The others are sitting in my garage, providing a platform for my newspaper recycling.

Thanks for the consideration sir! So interestingly enough, the car I am looking at comes with 21" winters... but I don't really want to run a 21" set up on the car (Tires are too expensive and I prefer the ride of 19's or 20's)

The winters I have are 19" on Porsche rims. The 19" rim JUST clears the brake calipers. A thick wheel-balance weight in the wrong spot wouldn't last long with them. The ride on the 21" all-season Michelins is actually quite good. Much better than the dedicated summer Nokia tires I had before (never ever get Nokia summer tires - they were simply awful.)
