Default Headlight Control Fault

Hey Guys,
I'm having an issue with an error on startup, "headlight control fault". Diagnostic (not a porsche one, just normal) is coming up as left xenon, additional lighting for turning (so I guess that little bulb that lights up turns)
The car WAS previously in an accident, and i'm wondering if it's not the wrong headlight (this is the side that was hit)
Working, original side is 7P5 941 032 P
Erroring side is 7P5 941 031 BC.

As far as I can see, it SHOULD be 7P5 941 031 P for this year. The BC one comes up as 2013 - it may be completely wrong and have some feature extra or is missing some feature, or it's correct and superseeds the older one.
The balast (i think that's what it's called in english) is the same on both sides - 7P5 907 381 A which seems to be correct. The balast was definately coded to the car.

Does anyone have a way to check if 7P5 941 031 BC is compatible with 7P5 941 031 P ? I know often times parts superceed each other. If something different superseeds the "P" version, anyone have a list of the part numbers that do superseed it?

Looking up used headlights, in the 2010-2014 range i've probably found 20 different possible part numbers, all with a different letter at the end.

Or can anyone shed some light on why there seems to be two part numbers on everything in this car? There's another part number that starts with 958

The part # that starts with 958 is the PORSCHE official PN. Try doing a Google on that entire number and see what turns up. You might also try a Google on the other numbers - sometimes those are numbers used by OE vendors like Bosch or Seimens - and alterative less expensive sources may turn up using those numbers (there is an intake manifold pressure sensor - from Porsche it's around $300. From AutoZone about $3 - found by using the Bosch PN, turns out it's used on everything including Chebbys.)

When I looked up in PET, there's only like 3 different porsche model numbers for the headlamp. The first was deprecated in 2014, the second in 2019. Yet, browsing my local auction site where parts are sold in my country - I've found probably 20 different 75P part numbers for the lamps, all with the same number but a different letter at the end.
P, M, AK. AM, BC, CE, etc. There are far more variants in the 7P5 numbers then the porsche numbers.
