By the say, my 2018 base is coming with 20 spider wheel with new continental crosscontact tires. Everything feels right for me so far. But the salesman tries to convince me that I will need a set of 2018 18 inch wheels for winter (the wheel set has been used for one winter). He told me that it is a great deal as the dealer only asked for $600 for the set. (it is only wheels, no tpms or tires). Another reason the saleman told me that I may consider 18inch eventually, as 20 inch tire might be little fragile for road path-holes. he said that he saw many 20inch to 18inch conversion after some experience of tire flat.

I do not know if I truly need those 18 inch wheels? I agree that 600 is very good price for a set of oem wheels. however the question is if 20 inch is good all around, I do not want to bother to store another set of wheels. If 18inch is truly useful, then I will get them back.

I think I kindly understand what you meant the spacing of 8 speed. I sometimes adjust transmission manually to lower gear to amplifier the power before I hit the pedal. 5th gear is my favorite when I suddenly want to some power when the car is crusing around 60 in 8th gear. If I donot manually adjust the gear, simply hit the pedal. Computer takes a while to lower the gear to 6 then 5.

I liked the 2019 base loaner I had when my 911 was in for its 1 year service as well. Price was much better on the CPO car however.

Can't go wrong with either.

cheers!

thanks, consumer reports says that 2019 has some hesitation when the car is under traffic. Do you feel that?

Besides, I find I like 2018’s buttons much more than touch screens.
