Default 2011 Cayenne Turbo sits lower on passenger side

So I just noticed that my 2011 cayenne turbo is sitting almost 1" lower on the passenger side than the driver's side. I measured, ground to fender on all four wheels and the passenger side, both front and rear sits close to 1" lose than the driver's side. i'm pretty aware of the car and thing this is something that is recent.

I'm off the entire week so wondering if anyone has any insight to where I should start looking?

Thanks in advance!

I would hook my iCarScan up and try reading out the height sensors on all 4 wheels. If they're all reading the same - something is amiss with the one in that corner. If that corner is reading lower - I'd then start looking into why that corner is lower.

BTW - have you tried cycling the air suspension up/down?

I'll try cycling it this am. Let me post up a few pics also so you guys can see if it's normal looking.

Also, wondering if my dramatic can read these values? I have yet to hook itt up.

durametric can not read those values, or anything else useful for 958 air suspension.

Your best bet is to sell the car.

^Knife, I jut read trough your entire thread. Oh man, what an ordeal. I'm getting worried now.

Let me go outside and see what my car i doing.

Edit: Ok, just cycled the height from as high as it would go all the down to loading level. The car now sits perfect. However, the pump has stopped working and I think I may have overheated it. Going to let it rest and remeasure in an hour or so.

Lets hope that I'm not going to have to change anything, however, I've prepped myself for new shocks if needed.

Good Morning all, ok, I think my suspension is acting up. Walked out to the car this AM and opened the passenger door to lay a ew items on the seat. I then heard a hissing sound followed by a pump. Looks like the front passenger shock was lowering and then then the pump turned on and filled it back up, it lowered again and once again the pump engaged to fill it up. I then shut the door and set the alarm and it all stopped.

Do I have an issue. It's pretty loud like a leak is in the front wheel well area. Never heard this sound before.

I've got the same thing going on. Don't waste your money on a new strut assembly just yet. Dealer insisted I had a leak even though I mentioned several times that it seemingly, purposely over-inflates, then deflates, then re-inflates. It isn't consistently low when I come out to it in the morning, and it cycles 3-4 times before I even get out of the neighborhood. $2800 is too much throwing parts. I'm wondering if there is a way to log the height sensor values from a cold wake up.

It's odd but the passenger front strut seems to be the most common one to leak. Replacing the o-ring and top seal of the airbag fixed the hissing sound and dropping on my 2011.

main sealing parts:
Air Spring O-Ring - Porsche (N-903-677-01)
Shock Mount - Porsche (958-343-018-20)

No Photos? No DIY?

A brief description would be very nice to have..

And the right front is the one sold out by many porsche parts departments.

My next move is to find the leak, then if it's the bag and or o rings. i'll be replacing them. I was going to do a DIY for the brakes, took pics and video and all but at the end of the day, I realized that the job is too easy and anyone can do it without a DIY. For this next project, I'll be making a DIY for all the members.

Ok, so i'm called back to work early, actually starting last Friday so I made appointment to take the car to the shop.don't have time to fix now. Don't want to drive the other garage queens for 2 weeks, adding mileage to them and so the only other option is paying someone to fix it.

however, this am, the car is working perfectly. goes all the way up and down. Holds air and doesn't make that leak sound. i'm driving it to work tomorrow and if sit acts up, then straight to the dealer I'll keep this thread updated on what's going on.

Going to request all old parts and will plan a visit to the shop once disassembled.

Stay tuned.
