The lettering came with a template of sorts, but it's straight, and not curved enough to use on the back of the Cayenne - however, it can be used to help with spacing...
So, once I got all the old letters off and cleaned everything up, I taped the template in place so the 'S' in the middle was lined-up with my mark from the previous 'S' (and the rear wiper) and left the ends loose so I could move the template as needed.
I started with the 'S' to make sure everything was centered, then worked outward - lining up the top edge of each letter with my tape, using the template as a guide for spacing. Compared to the marks I made originally, the template was maybe a few mm wider overall, but not noticeable.

Thanks, I think so too... Looks a lot better than it used to... I used to have 'Cayenne turbo' on the rear because the dents were right where the 'Cayenne' was supposed to be, so I had to move things over so they would stick...
BUT, I had to take the 'Cayenne' off already because I hadn't corrected the paint enough, and once I had it in bright sunlight you could see the outline of the 'Cayenne turbo' badges
It actually looks cool with just the Porsche, but I've got another Cayenne badge on order.

This weekend I installed a hitch (Curt) and module, installed the Carplay module in the PCM and started the install of the ALP/Net system so I don't get arrested for questionable driving habits. The hardest part of the hitch install was getting the trailer plug to mount in a position that was accessible but not visible without cutting the car. It took a couple of hours of fiddling and fabricating... On the radar/laser system, I did the rear-facing radar under the bumper cover and the laser unit out of one of the license plate lights. I don't mind hitting something small and plastic with a dremel as long as the body don't need to get drilled. I got the wire through the booth without tearing it which is a trick I with I had figured out on the previous install!
My fingers are mangled (usually white-collar laptop work) so I'm going to finish the 'front' half of the ALP maybe next weekend as well as the brake controller for the hitch.
