Haven't installed them yet tho cause I rounded the bolts that holds the tips on the muffler even tho I drenched them in rust solvent for like two days. Have to get new ones and cut the current ones off with a grinder. My tips is to buy new couplings when you order tips if you live in an area where things tend to rust.

PB Blaster soak overnight and an impact gun got mine off. Total pain in the **** but was doable.

Put a dab of anti-seize on the bolts when you put it back together.

I did the same, I can’t get them to loosen up. Thinking about cutting the bolt of with a saw blade and replace the bolt, Porsche wanted 300$ to refit new ones😬

Did the spark plugs today on my 958 platinum edition. Thanks for all the info on this forum. Pretty straight forward job.

Today I found my rear tire flat with a small nail stuck in it. Tried to plug/patch it with no luck and since its rather close to the sidewall, looks like its time for new tires. Worst part is, these tires only have about 10k miles on them with tonssss of life left

Now I'm debating buying 1 new tire and shaving to match, vs buying 2 new rears... FUN!

Bite the bullet and buy two new tires. It’s best in the long run.

I''d just buy one and shave. Keep in mind that they only shave to whole numbers.

Got some ok weather today so I managed to finally install my new tailpipes and I couldn’t be happier😃 Looks so much better than the square ones. My tailpipe clamps was totally rusted and I couldn’t get them loose so I got me some new ones from Porsche and cut the old ones off, then the install was easy but they are much heavier then the stock ones so it feels a bit sketchy that the new ones are only held up with the clamps.
Not the best pictures but it’s what I have for now.

Well, this week, the Cayenne S Hybrid is getting an integrated engineering overdrive crank pulley which will bring the ratio to 2.9 , along with water pump, thermostat and aux water pump. As well as a compressor replacement.

The car is gonna be pulling around 500 horses with the electric drive.

Those look good. Been thinking about changing to dual tailpipes as well. Where did you get them from and how's the quality?

Just hit 100k miles and had a water pump issue and it got me to thinking whether I wanted to get something new or get a bunch of service and maintenance done and keep it for another 100k. Looked at all the new stuff out there, and the prices, and decided to keep it for another 100k.

So...right now its at trusty indy getting all new brakes including rotors, new tires, plugs, oil, some fluids.

I've got a softronic tune on it, considering switching from aluminum to carbon fiber interior, adding a Soul secondary cat delete, and/or a new head unit for my next 100k. So basically make my old car new again lol. My interior is in great shape but always wished I had CF instead of aluminum and the aluminum is starting to show some wear.

Gonna have to research all the head unit threads here to see if I think I can DIY it or not.

We're all in the same boat with the head unit. I think I'm gonna go with the Mr 12v set up. There's a pretty good thread going on it.
