We're all in the same boat with the head unit. I think I'm gonna go with the Mr 12v set up. There's a pretty good thread going on it.
Yeah I am intrigued by that one - seems simple and keeps OEM look - or one of the units that fits in the same space but replaces the buttons with more screen area. I don't want the giant tesla screen looking units, but the ones that fit in the same space I would consider too.

Yup, I don't like the big tablet either. The hole is not your typical double din. So all we're left with is a Mr 12v type mod. Joy auto and a few others are similar. But in my opinion Mr 12v seems like the best option. We keep the factory unit and still have the factory functionality. I guess it all depends on your expectations. All I'm really concerned about is Android auto and car play for my wife. Everything else is just a bonus.
Read that Mr 12v thread (it's not crazy long) and see what you think.
Just hit 100k miles and had a water pump issue and it got me to thinking whether I wanted to get something new or get a bunch of service and maintenance done and keep it for another 100k. Looked at all the new stuff out there, and the prices, and decided to keep it for another 100k.
So...right now its at trusty indy getting all new brakes including rotors, new tires, plugs, oil, some fluids.
I've got a softronic tune on it, considering switching from aluminum to carbon fiber interior, adding a Soul secondary cat delete, and/or a new head unit for my next 100k. So basically make my old car new again lol. My interior is in great shape but always wished I had CF instead of aluminum and the aluminum is starting to show some wear.
Gonna have to research all the head unit threads here to see if I think I can DIY it or not.
I was in the same boat as you 40k miles ago 😜 and I decided to keep mine and go long term with it. All my maintenance is up to date with new everything, and I can’t see blowing a ton of $$$ on something new as there really isn’t anything that excites me that much. No regrets on my decision.

yep there is nothing out there right now worth the insane prices IMHO.
I like the new Tahoes and Yukons but instead of a 90 grand Chevy I'll just put some new carbon fiber in my Cayenne I think.
Same I like mine. The only issues I have had are my phone not auto connecting (if I unlock it it will), and on 2 occasions it has lost connection or Mr12Volt has reset: either could be my phone or Mr12Volt but it happens infrequently I haven't worried about it. The only complaint I have is the Bluetooth/ hands free doesn't disconnect until the car is locked or after sometime after opening the door, the PCM seemed to always disconnect when you opened turned the ignition off unless you were on a call.
Did the complete front brakes today. Rotors, pads, sensors and new caliper bolts. All in all pretty easy and glad Porsche actually designed this job to be pretty easy and so much more satisfaction than paying somebody else to do it. The only complaint I have is same as I had when I did the rears last year, is the wheel is a pain to get off. I wind up kicking it all over to break it free. I waited 2 months since I bought the parts from FCP as I didn’t feel like doing this is the freezing cold. Got up to mid 60s here in upstate NY, so banged it out since the temps are dropping again tomorrow.
Those look good. Been thinking about changing to dual tailpipes as well. Where did you get them from and how's the quality?
Thanks! I got them from “Mandy car part store” on Aliexpress, I think most tailpipes on there comes from the same factory tho since most of them have the same product pictures.
Quality feels nice and they are well built from what I can tell, heavier than original but they are still on there with no sagging

If the old brakes you just removed are also from FCP, get them back asap and there is return window to get the lifetime replacement warranty. I think it's 90 days.
Well, this week, the Cayenne S Hybrid is getting an integrated engineering overdrive crank pulley which will bring the ratio to 2.9 , along with water pump, thermostat and aux water pump. As well as a compressor replacement.
The car is gonna be pulling around 500 horses with the electric drive.
Curious how this went over. What year is your s hybrid? Is someone making a kit/tune for this now? I could be misremembering but last time I looked, you could use the audi pulley but no one had made a tune to go with it.
