958 Service Campaigns and Recalls
This thread will document the service campaigns Porsche has issued for various 958 models. It will also cover Workshop Bulletins and NHTSA and other recalls.
For the moment I'm going to make it a closed/sticky thread, and ask that anyone with info please PM me with that info. I'll put the info into a standardized format - hopefully making it easy to find and use.
Thanks to Chao for the idea!

WC-22 and NHTSA Recall - VarioCam failures, V8 engines, 2011, 2012
WC-22 was an initial action on the part of Porsche to address failures of the fastening bolts on the VarioCam adjusters used on the V8 engines for Cayennes produced from late 2010 to early 2012. These were sold as 2011 and early 2012 models in the US. This campaign was for a very limited range of engines. WC = Workshop Campaign - something the dealer repair departments are supposed to perform when the vehicle is in for service.
Since the failures continued on vehicles not covered by WC-22, and it was found that recalls were issued for the same problem over a much wider range of VIN's in Japan and China, NHTSA in the US got involved. Porsche then issued Porsche Campaign AH08, which is a RECALL on a wide range of the engines used in the Cayenne and Panamera vehicles. This is an ongoing recall. It was announced early spring of 2017, and in late fall no parts availability has been announced. This recall effects approximately 18,000 vehicles in the US.
This also was followed up by a RECALL action in Canada, http://wwwapps.tc.gc.ca/Saf-Sec-Sur/...&pg=0&lang=eng - basically identical to the US announced recall. This recall effects approximately 1,800 vehicles.
Details on the failures, and a history of what happened can be found in the thread: https://rennlist.com/forums/cayenne-...cam-bolts.html here, and a more extensive one on 6speedonline.

Category: Car, SUV
Recall Details: On certain vehicles, the fasteners of the camshaft adjusters could fail due to an assembly problem. If this occurs, this could cause abnormal engine noises, vibrations, illumination of the check engine light and could cause the vehicle to stall, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the fastening screws of the camshaft adjusters and if necessary, replace the camshaft adjuster assemblies.

Excessive Oil Use, 2011-2013 Cayenne Turbos
The early 958 Cayenne turbo gained a reputation as an oil burner after introduction. It was not unusual for an engine to consume as much as 1/ltr of oil in 500-750 miles. Porsche initially denied this was a problem, but combined with the heavy usage - oil was found to be pooling in the bottom pipe from the turbo to intercooler, and in some cases fouling the intercooler.
In 2013 Porsche issued a Workshop Bulletin: WC55.
This campaign was later extended to cover 2013 models to June 2013.
Since this is not a "RECALL" - NHTSA can't force this to be done, and Porsche does it at their discretion. But it can be seen to be an emissions issue, and emissions warranties are either 70,000 to 80,000 miles and varying time. People have succeeded in getting this covered by dealers even when out of warranty. The action replaced the oil separator in the bank-2 valve cover with a new design.
Doing this has frequently taken the turbos from being oil burners to using virtually no oil.

At the suggestion of ledbette, I'm adding the following:
I recently purchased a 2017 Cayenne S and I'm trying to pull together a list of known issues. Here are a couple of things I've found that would be nice to have in a single place, maybe here, maybe in a separate sticky.
1. Transfer Case Warranty Extension - https://www.transfercasewarrantyextension.com, password DRIVEN
2. Speed Sensor Warranty Extension - https://www.wheelspeedsensorwarrantyextension.com, password SENSOR
3. There are a number of important TSBs on http://www.porscheproblems.com/model...sbs/index.html, including the TSBs related to the warranty extensions. The site links to documents stored in the NTSB repository. I'm not sure if there is an official way to locate these through NTSB directly.
4. One of the items linked on that page is a list of Advanced Technical Information bulletins (https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/20...68693-0001.pdf), which have technical details on how to solve some common problems. The awareness that these exist is definitely helpful for Cayenne owners.
