06 Cayenne S engine noise

OP - go to Harbor Freight, buy their $3.99 mechanic's stethoscope and put it to use. Track down the location the noise you hear is coming from and post that.
In general - Utube cell-phone videos suck big time for diagnostics of noises.

It only sat over the weekend. I did check the oil level and it is fine. I changed the oil about 3 weeks ago. It gets a little quiter after a little bit but does not go away. Kind of sounds like a hydraulic lifter not building pressure.
Another excuse to buy a tool!
I wouldn't say you're wrong - I'd say we can't tell based on a video.

It might be worth doing a few short-interval oil changes..

I let the oil change go out 10,000 miles (from my normal 5000 miles) before I changed it this last time. It had only been 500 miles on the new oil change when this noise started. Hopefully I will never hear that noise again. I never grove it after it started making the noise except the 4 miles to the mechanic.

If it went away, that's a good sign.
If the noise starts up again, pop off the black V8 engine cover right up front and check your Vapor Canister Purge Valve. Few months back mine started making a rapping noise that would last several minutes, disappear and then come back several minutes later. Next morning I removed the gas cap and a rush of air came out, noise never came back. Only thing I can think of is we had a drastic temperature swing from 30s to 90s in about 1 day.
If it's the valve, it'll be obvious when you get the cover off. You'll be able to feel it and it may even be hopping around.
