Default Brake pads

I am trying to buy brake pads for my 2008 Cayenne S.

What size are the front and rear rotors?

Any recommended brake pads that dust a lot less than stock? I'm willing to sacrifice brake grip for extended pad life and significantly less dust

Anyone know who makes the factory pads? I've seen Pagid, Textar, Bosch, ATE, and OEM.

All the non-Porsche pads are about 120/axle...

I tried the Hawk LTS which have been good for me on other trucks - they definitely dust less but they don't stop nearly as well as the stock pads and will get replaced with something else next time.

I'm pretty sure multiple companies supply the pads with the list above being the big ones. I've never been able to verify that the pads you buy from Pagid/Brembo/et al are the same ones supplied to Porsche. I've had mixed results in the past with OEM companies supplying pads that looked and felt a bit different than OEM. I've seen similar posts from the 996/7 guys, and even some of the tuners. Some surmise that Porsche gets a special sauce from the brake companies, and the pads those companies sell directly aren't that same blend.

For that reason - I stick with OEM Porsche pads - but I'll take the dust for the consistent stopping.

I compared the factory originals with the Pagids and they are exact same with same stampings and part number.

My CD came with akebono pads from the factory. OEM replacement from Sunset are Brembo. Akebono pads are very soft with almost no wear on rotors at 52K miles when switched out.

You'll want pad sensors too.

The car had 80Kmi on it and had not needed a pad replacement yet. Granted the braking performance cannot compare, but it's mostly my wife driving the car and she doesn't go above the speed limit, much less brake repeatedly from high speeds. Plus the rotors are large enough to compensate for long life pads and performance should still be sufficient for daily driver use.

I have the Posi Quiet pads (http://www.autoanything.com/brakes/77A4364A3935685.aspx) on my stoptech BBK that's on my infiniti G35 and they have worked well. Anything similar for they Cayenne?

Thanks!
