Default Manually Open Rear Window Hatch 957

I am trying to replace the whole rear wiper assembly on 09 GTS. My release switch is not working. How do I manually open the rear window hatch? Which specific trim pieces need to be removed and location of the switch.

Figured out how to manually open the rear glass. Now I need to source a new male connector plug to replace the corroded one that plugs into the micro switch female connector. Any ideas where I can pick one up?

Solder the wires and cover the joint with heat shrink tubing. Unlike a connector this is a permanent fix.

Thanks Rick. If I cannot source a new male plug I will end up soldering this weekend.

If you want a semi-permanent fix, then crimp some bullet connectors on the wires and then heat-shrink over them.

If you need to disconnect in the future, then you just split open the heat-shrink and disconnect.

Stripped both sides of the connectors and spliced them together. Wiper and hatch are back to being fully functional. Could not source the replacement connector. pelican said I would need to replace the entire wiring harness???

We have connector repair kits at my dealership, if you take it into service or parts they may be able to find the same one in the kit and sell it to you.
