Do you have any pictures of which wire you moved? My wheel controls have not worked since install, and I would love to try what you did.

Quick Question:

Is the fiber decoder box required for non bose radios?

I have a base model 2009 957 cayenne with the basic sound system id like to make sure it isn't required before purchasing the upgraded unit.

Not required. If not Bose, there are no fiber optics. The audio exits the radio on copper wires.
