I was ordering the stereo adapter, and they asked if I had a Bose stereo, because then I need the most adapter. They insist the PCM doesn't need it, just the canbus. However when I searched rennlist I see references to PCM needing the most. I'd that only PCM with Bose? Or do all pcms use most?

I have an 08 PCM 2.1 no Bose.

As Mudman2 said, MOST with or without Bose. There is a Canbus on the vehicle also but the stereo components talk to each other on the Most and are accessed through the ECU on the Canbus for diagnostics.

Thanks for clarifying. That confirms what I was reading on here, but I was talking to a reputable shop that said the PCM 2.1 didn't use most. Thanks a lot for the confirmation... I appreciate it!

Then Just ask him what the two larger Orange cables are that plug into the back of the PCM are for? They are Fiberoptic cables. I guess the reputable shop isn't as Cayenne savy as they believe. MOST in a Cayenne or any Porsche from 2003~2005-on is common.
