Default 955tt cranks, revs to 300rpm, sputters then stalls?!?!? Hellp

Hi all, so I've been driving the 04' CTT all day today, was told it is raining so ran outside, started it and rolled up the windows. It ran fine. 1.5 hours later go to leave, it has power, starts, revs to 200 or 300 rpm then stalls out. I have about 3 gallons in the tank, oil is fine, and had no issues all day.

I drove at least 100 miles today, did a couple of merges on the freeway, spiritedly if you will and it was running like a champ.

Any help would be great, ideas, etc. Worst day for this at 9pm est time...nothing is open indy or dealership wise.

No issues at all per durametric, put 5 gallons in via the red cans, cleared all stored faults in the memory and checked fluids. She started right up. I'll keep an eye out for it and not let the gas get below a quarter just to be safe.

Bad fuel pump? Then you add the gas and the other fuel pump picked it up?

Copyrighted.... Posted from someone else on here that I've been saving:
If you need to drive the car and avoid to pay a towing, just remove the #1 pump relay in the engine compartment fuse box. You need a torx 30 because the relay is located in the hidden part right next to the firewall. If your car starts and stall in less than 30 secs... Remove the key, remove the #1 fuel pump relay, then restart the car. If the car still running after 30 secs, like me your primary fuel pump is defect. By doing this, the computer think there is no fuel on left side and run the secondary pump !!! I drove the cayenne about 60 miles with the second pump to the dealer to buy the fuel pump, small pipe and 2 seal because you need to open both side under the seat. The fuel pump have many pipe attached to it with different size and length to avoid bad connection. Two pipes are running from left to right. The job is not easy but you need to do it when the tank is almost empty or use a manual pump like me. Don’t forget to clean the fuel filter on the top plate driver side, I never seen so much black dirt in a small filter... I clean it 8 times in fuel bowl and reinstall it. I suspect dirt filter may cause the pump problem. To remove the bolt under the seat use M10 and they are very tight.

I drove my cayenne about a thousand or so miles when mine went out on a road trip with the fuse pulled. Saved my bacon. Just don't let the tank get below 1/3 empty.
