I have 06-Cayenne S and I am looking to buy 09 Cayenne TTS, love these cars, very reliable, no issues at all even with -40 degree F here for couple of months a year, my wife has the 955 CS and i will be trading my 996TT for 957TTS.
Go for it, great cars

extreme low temps is when cylinder scoring can show up in the CS. Might want to get out of that car at some point. Turbos don't suffer from that because they have oil sprayers and different pistons. Im not worried about my CS because I live in a mild climate.

Not entirely true. There is a certain range of VINs that were affected by the cylinder scoring issue. It has nothing to do with the car or engine, just a manufacturing defect in piston rings for a little while. Otherwise CS's would have suffered all the way through the range of years and the problem would have never been "Fixed" since there wouldn't be a "Fix" for "Cold Weather". Trust me, this car has seen -56*F (Which is actually colder than -56*C for those wondering..) running 5w-40 oils (For its entire life nonetheless) and has yet to have a single issue at 100k+ miles.
