We just recently acquired a 08 CTT and I can't get the rear cd changer or head unit one to work. It has this aux usb cord in glove box but I can't get any sound out of it even when I set head unit on AUX. I also have a iPhone 4 fat blade style cord in glove box.

I did buy a white and red RCA to 3.5mm jack to plug in to my phone and did get it to work however I can't close the glove box.

Does anyone have any input?

that looks like the aux in for a Dension Gateway. I have one in my 996. If it's like mine, that switch enables either the dension unit, or the cd changer. Both can't work at once; the dension allows you to control an ipod/iphone as if it were a CD changer.

FYI they are about $500 so having one installed is a major plus. Just buy an older ipod or ipod touch and leave it in the car all the time for tunes.

+1. CDs get old FAST if you spend any length of time in the car. Dension is a major plus.

Also, looks like there was a middle passenger in the rear seat. I gave up putting the cup holder door back on too.

Tap for the x67 Kegerator option. Cold beer on the go! Or it could be the terminal for the flux capacitor.

Actually, not sure what that is. Can you post another picture?

The **** looks like a power/volume **** for a built-in radar detector.

I think your right cause I saw what seems to me a radar device on front bumper and rear of car. Question now is how do I get the dang thing on lol

Looks like a K40 radar detector power/volume ****. A lot of them were dealer (as in Porsche dealer) installed (another way to make more money off the customer). They work Ok depending on how the antenna's (if it has front & rear antennas) installed but no real false alarm discrimination. My '06CTTS has one and for some reason the rear detection range is better than from the front. I've checked the antenna's to make sure the front isn't being blocked by anything, at least not metal but oh well. I have a Escort 9500ix and a Valentine in other cars and they are both better in all respects to the more expensive K40. My K40 does have the laser Jammer in the front license plate surround? Check yours. Not sure if it is any good as in the last 5yrs I've only had one laser close call incident and he didn't pull out after me and I was definitely speeding so maybe? Also, go to their website and you should be able to download the manual and installation instructions that will tell you what you've got. Mine has a nice install, two Red LED lights on either side of Speedo, left is front and right one for rear alert. You should get test beeps when you turn it on. Inner button for volume, Outer turn to the left for City and to the right for Highway setting.
